Kids are up earlier than usual, playing with foam blocks.
Im going for a mani/pedi later but otherwise we’ll hang around here all day.

Hello. Busy day today. Going to a bbq at a friend’s house then heading to the beach. The unfortunate part is the friend lives halfway to the beach but I have to come back home to pick up the dog before going to the beach. I need to get C down for nap soon then pack for both places.

Morning ladies!
I was up until 11:30 last night finishing Stranger Things. It was so good. Evie joined me in bed about 5:15, I fed the dogs at 6:30, then we all slept until 8:30.
Her and I are going to my dads to swim today. H will head home around noon and maybe get halfway from Elkhart, IN, but at least he will have a shorter drive tomorrow.

I slept like crap last night. I woke up a few times thinking I heard the smoke detector beeping. Then I decided it was the carbon monoxide detector.
At 4am I found my order on amazon to look up the instructions to see if it was going off or a low battery. I’m obviously really concerned about my safety since I didn’t bother to get out of bed to check it out. Lol.
Nothing is beeping so it was either in my dreams, or the damn dog.

I was so tired and sad, I quickly turned it off and went to bed. I'll check it out, thanks! Is it kid safe or do I need to wait till evie goes to bed? I was so worried she was going to wake when I was watching and come out and see the thing, whatever it is called. Scares me, hate to think what it would do to a 5yr old. |

Morning.
We had a fun day at the fair, I let the kids guide what we did and they were so happy with the rides, food and the indoor play hall. Baby shark even preformed, J was in heaven.
Today we’re having people over for a pool party and a BBQ, should be a good time it’ll be nice to stay around home.
I haven’t been feeling the greatest for a couple weeks now, so this rest from work will be nice but damn anxiety has me convinced I’m dying. Ugh, the worst.

My girls are home. Maddie has an ankle brace. She is so dang proud to be wearing that thing. Cass is jealous that M got Tylenol because C is an addict. Lol.
My mom bought them a ton of clothes so I don't need to get any for the fall.
My mom's here and today I think I'll take her to a great breakfast place then we'll play it by ear.

Morning! The game last night was good. The kids did fine until about the bottom of the 8th and then started whining. Our team won and there was fireworks so the girls held out until the end. DH is working this morning and I’m hanging at home with the kids. I sanded and restained the front porch steps and did some watering in my garden. I was thinking about going to this kids festival today but it’s supposed to be 90 again so I might try to convince DH to do a pool instead.

Hi.
Those late nights caught up with me yesterday and my body was feeling so tired by the evening. We all slept in late. MH has an assistant starting soon that was in town looking for apartments. He stopped by the house so I had to speed clean. I’m out getting a few groceries and we have another concert tonight.
Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday.

Hi!! I got home last night so my body has no idea what time zone I"m in. Anyhow I took the boys to the library and then straight to Col's golf lesson. They take them on the course on the 4th class each session, so the kids get so excited. So clearly it was a great time for a surprise electrical storm. We all (I still had Chase with us) went inside and the kids putted while they decided to have everyone come back tomorrow at 1. Col has a birthday party from 11-1 and another from 2 to 4, so it's going to be a busy one!!

Hey guys.
Mh took Cadence to gymnastics this morning. Her bff from dc now goes on Saturdays just so she can be with Cadence. Mh hit it off with her Dad, so then I get a text asking if the girls can come over one day because the h wants to see mh's recording room. LOL
When they got back we went on some errands and now I'm hanging on the couch waiting for my ibuprofen to kick in.
We're headed to the movies later while Cadence hangs with FIL.

Sunny41 yikes! Hope you are ok. Mh was driving behind a junk truck this morning that was over full. A window screen flew off and got wedged in mh's grill. He was honking and everything and the guys never stopped. Luckily there was no damage, but who knows if more fell off down the highway.

We have C's school/soccer friend and family coming over for pizza and play. The mom and kids came over once during the day but this is our first full family hang out! She texted that she will bring beer (and pizza but I told her we would order that) so that put me at ease a tad....cause drinking. I feel like it's a date!

Also random story, MH and I met online and our first date was at a brewery. I don't know what the fuck was wrong with us but neither of us ordered a drink, we were both waiting for the other one to. Our second date we both made sure to specify that we were going to be drinking alcohol.

DD AHEAD lahdeedah it’s going rough. Not going to lie. I’m at fault and now the other drive is saying they have a soft tissue injury. Even though they haven’t looked at my car yet they are 99% sure they are totaling it. There’s a really good chance I’m going to have to pay something out of pocket due to a law that started this year to help protect insurance agencies. I’m just hoping they don’t raise our monthly rate too much. I am still sore and have bruises, but I’m physically fine. E is completely fine. The car seat did its job. So I’m so relieved about that. I’m scared for my marriage. C is very angry about it. He knows it was an accident but with us just paying for private school for Lo, our funds were going to be tight the next couple of months before this. And with my job not allowing any overtime right now , we are both stressing about money. Some good news, my parents are gifting me their car. It’s a little smaller then what I was looking for but I’m so grateful right now we’ll make it work. My parents were so worried I was going to rush out and get another car and they were going to get a new car next year, they just decided to give it to me. I’m still crying over this. I’m also cleaning my house like a crazy woman because my dad will be here on Thursday or Friday. I’ve been doing projects all summer that I haven’t kept up with the daily/weekly cleaning. I’m so sorry that was so long. |

Sunny41 glad you are okay! chrisy01 accidents happen, regardless of who is at fault. Your husband will get over it with time. That was great of your parents to gift you! Evie and I had a great time at my dads...until me and my step mom got thr blue floaties out and relaxed. Then she was 'so bored.' I had to pull her aside and tell her if she didn't stop, we would be going home. She went inside and changed her clothes and came back out and told me she was tired. Brat. I could have fallen asleep!

No broken bones just sprained wrist. The insurance lady was useless and I'm going to call tomorrow and get a rental car because this lady was making us wait until Monday. But MH had done a great job making the calls I needed and not turning into a stress ball. It may sound weird but I think that part of today was important for us as a couple because I take care of SSI many calls and responsibilities
But I'm pissed I didn't get any good pain drugs just recommended tylenol and aleve
