I just dropped an unopened can of Coke on the tile floor outside me office...its opened now...and exploded EVERYWHERE. Including my pant leg all the way up to my thigh and even came up and speckled my glasses. However, my super sweet employee brought me a chocolate croissant from the bakery and told me to sit down and eat it while she cleans it up. She could tell I was stressed! Lol.

Happy Monday! I’m in the car wash Line. Dropped N off at kindergarten connection this morning and she went right in, no hesitation. I think her anxiety might be behind her, yay!! Then h and I stopped at my old office to help with something and visit, then to the grocery store. We will pick N up after this. Not sure what’s on the agenda the rest of the day.

Morning! No more heat today 🎉🎉🎉. Visited the town Woodstock today, I love this town. They have the most amazing toy store and I had one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve had in a long time for lunch. Dd is napping and I’m laying besides her, she’s such a snuggle bug.

Hey. It’s cooler today, which is a nice change. We met friends at a park this morning, then ran errands and came home for a nap. We will be going outside to play again in a little bit.

My mom called me, she had to call 911 for my step dad. So I'm at the ER with her, waiting to figure out what's going on. He has a pain in his lower left side so bad, it dropped him to his knees and she couldnt help him up.

Same. My dad was convinced he was dying when he had one.

Questions: We were just ( like this afternoon) invited on a beach vacation (hotel stay, not house) with friends. They love the beach. I love the beach and all parties would spend all day there. MH pretty much hates the beach and can only take it for maybe 90 minute blocks at a time (maybe). He thinks we should go, and he’ll take breaks and go back to the room to get away from it throughout the day (it’s maybe a 8-10 minute walk back to the hotel). I don’t really want to watch both kids at the ocean by myself —the other couple has 2 kids as well, but older than our 2.
Would you go?

Remember last year when I freaked out because those boys had pulled down their pants at school and told cadence to pull hers down? Well, fast forward a year and now my kid and 4 of her friends were all pulling their pants down to "compare butts". 🤦 Did she cry when she got in trouble? Nope. But she cried when I took away the tablet and made her help put dishes away.
Ugh, failing at parenting over here.

Same. I'd try to use some of YH's blocks of time on the beach to read a book or close my eyes a bit. We haven't done the ocean, but at the lake C and L entertain themselves and play SO well. Obviously the supervision does need to be nonstop with the water though which can be tiring so I do see where you're coming from.

The kids are so comfortable at the lake. I got all the time when it’s just me and them, but the ocean is a whole new situation. We’re leaning toward going, but I can already feel myself getting annoyed.

Not kidney stones. White blood cells are high, so they want a UA, but he hasn't had anything to drink since I've been here. So they're going to give him some fluids.

I would. The older kids may keep the younger ones entertained well. Also, once YH is done, one of the kids may be, too, so you can divide and conquer. It may be a fun outing for all involved. Do it!

A package I needed was delivered to my neighbors. Well it took me an hour to get Mallory asleep and I asked A to go get it for me since I was afraid to move her from my chest. He said he didn't want to. So I put her down, which immediately wakes her up and he says "oh I was going to go get it for you!" 😠
