Hot day here too. A was up a bit throughout the night (fever and diarrhea), he's home with my in-laws because I really shouldn't miss work today. If he's struggling I'll leave early so I can snuggle him!

Both kids were up before 7 again. If I could just convince M to sleep with her cousins, she’d actually sleep in...& I wouldn’t be getting kicked all night long.
We’ve already been to the park this morning and we’ll probably get the slip n slide out later. Apparently H dislikes splash parks.

Morning from my air conditioned office. My hair is already a disaster from the brief time spent out in humidity - it's just so gross. I spent most of the night in the guestroom thanks to DH's snoring, where I found a big hole in the wall. So even if FIL ever finishes the damn murphy bed, he now has to fix the butt-sized hole he made in our wall. I'm never getting the room back at this point.
I'm both looking forward to my Calgary trip next week and dreading it. I've been kicking ass at work and I'm looking forward to some face time with some of our higher ups and the flexibility to work with a glass of wine in the evening (because there's just so damn much to do). But poor Chase is in such a major Mommy phase right now. He'll be sad and DH will be frustrated. But hey, at least it all somehow encourages Colin to behave and help out, so it's not all bad.

She went to bed early on her own accord and was up super early with me when I was getting ready for work. She felt a little cooler though. wedding I hope your vertigo has completely passed. I've been super productive lately and it feels good. I've been working out everyday--usually twice (although since I can't do cardio with my toe I'm dreading how that will kick my ass when I can start again). After months of a relentless onslaught of reports at work I'm almost caught up and way ahead of the rest of my team. As always the house could use work, but I'm getting a lot done at home too. It feels good. Now if I could ever get my insomnia under control and sleep better that'd be awesome.

Invoicing and payroll! Fun fun! MJ is out cold so I'm working quickly. Boys are at the sitters. Thank god. M kicked J in the face, on purpose about 10 minutes after they woke up.. So it was a fun morning.

It’s going to rain all day. Spent the morning listening to gymnastics music for DD for next season. I got in a good workout and will take all 4 to the mall when C gets up. I noticed I have worn holes through my favorite shorts and then realized I haven’t bought shorts since before T was born so they all look about ready to have holes worn through and are out of style. I have been waiting to lose those last 10 pounds. I do good all week then the weekend comes and I drink and eat donuts. Hoping to do better when I go back to work and have a more set routine. Tonight we will head back to the beach.

About to walk to get lunch bc my salad is looking a bit questionable, so don't want to risk it. I was up til 12 doing school work and mh got home then from the baseball game. He got mad at me when I showed him a pic my sis sent from the Face App that is now a security risk and wasn't convinced that I didn't download it too🙄.

Hi.
Nothing but work. M2 was sleeping in my bed last night and MH in M’s bed. M2 moves a lot in his sleep but usually doesn’t get close to the edge, but last night he fell out the bed. I picked him up and he went back to sleep, but I never cut the light on. This morning when I got up and went to get him dressed, I saw that he had actually busted his lip. Poor kid. Guess he needs to stay in his bed from now on....

Hey. I watched my friend’s kids this morning while she worked for a couple hours. Then lunch and now nap. Why are kids the slowest people on earth? Mine take forever to eat and forever to fall asleep. How do I fix this? H is going to be very hungry at school, because they only get 20 minutes. I’m considering setting a timer and then taking the food away when times up during lunch. This afternoon I’m watching a different friend’s kids because she has to work and her FIL can’t watch them. He will pick them up around 5. I will drop my kids off at their house so they can take them to the last night of VBS and then I have to work for the first time in 9 days. I am ready for it. I also will get my to see my review and raise which I’ve been anxious to see. Hopefully they did me right this year. wineallthetime I hope A is feeling better soon! |
