tgrimes enjoy the time with your sister! lahdeedah I hate to tell you that you will not fill the gaps enough to keep snakes out...they can fit in tiny spaces. At least you won't have mice? peachsmama sorry about the sitter, but you do know kids this age fight...and never stop. I know that. But it's been sooo bad lately. I can barely leave them alone to play without someone getting injured. I mean M kicked J in the face this morning. For walking by him.... and j smacked m for I dont even know what, 2 minutes after we got home today. |

My kids did not want to go to
Bed and were still awake when I got home. My niece went back in the room twice before I finally went in there. When I walked in M had crawled in the pack n play with H and they were giggling. How do you get mad at that?
I got M to sleep pretty quickly but H was being stubborn. I tried just walking out but he screamed so loudly that he woke up M. I tried everything. I finally took him out of the room and my BIL put him on his chest. It took him 30 min but he’s finally asleep.
Hopefully he can transfer him to the pack n play successfully.

M just said he and MH saw a snake in the back yard when they were cutting grass. Noooo! Abort, Abort! There is a pretty nice sized gap in our back fence underneath it. The yard slopes down a little and backs up to some woodsy ditch/creek area. I’ll be making yet another Lowe’s visit to get something to fill in the gaps. My dad suggested bricks when he was here a few weeks ago. Fuck no to snakes! |

I’m bummed. I got my glowing review, exceeds expectations on everything, but no raise info in the envelope  I think it’s effective the next pay period so I’ll find out by the end of next week, either way. That sucks. I’m sorry you have to wait to find out. You work for a hospital system, right?Most of the systems I’ve been in only give you a 2-3% raise... which is not much. I wonder if this is a regional thing?? I hope you get the bump in pay that you want. Especially since you voiced your concerns to your supervisor. Today a coworker got her raise letter and the percentage must have been so low because she was like I guess we aren't getting them this year. And I'm pretty sure the big raises I get are only to keep me above the bottom salary range that keeps increasing. So basically an inflation raise |

MH is on the phone with his cousins inviting them and their kids over? Hell no, H. Our big kids are gone and A is asleep, I'm having a quiet KID free night. Why would they even want to come when you potentially have a stomach bug in the house? Right? I guess they like to live on the edge! 2 adult cousins came over, no kids. I hung out for a bit and then locked myself in my room so I didn't have to socialize. I really like his cousins but I so wasn't in the mood. |

Yeah... thought about that, but hoping it at least deters the bigger ones, if they have bigger ones. Maybe I should get moth balls, too, to put on the back side of the fence. I think I’ve heard that is supposed to deter them. Not sure if true. |

A huge majority of the snakes I see are 'just' black snakes, not poisonous, they actually provide more benefit than not. I still hate them. Last Saturday when I went for a run, I kept passing a baby snake, like maybe a foot long, skinny. I kept thinking I should step on it and try to kill it because I'm sure next summer, that fucker will scare the shit out of me when I'm mowing and it's full size! I'm like Indiana Jones, I hate snakes! |

wedding we've reduced the melatonin to every other night. Melatonin nights are my favorite nights. I need to restock my melatonin. I accidentally bought actual pills instead of chewables and I know those won’t work for my kids. |
