I can totally relate to the work stress....work has been so busy lately and then when we get home I feel like I just follow a lovable tornado around, lol.
Today he fell face first in the driveway and has a big bloody lip and a banged up nose. I have so much mom guilt!

We haven’t done Wednesday pictures for a while. Anyone up for it? I’m not as good about taking pics but I do have a few!

We’re flying to San Francisco next week for my BIL ‘s wedding. First flight with the kids. Anyone have advice on the best way to handle car seats? (We’ll be renting a car there.) Not sure if we should use the car rental car seats, or bring seats and gate check them, or rent seats through a service...

Took DS2 to the dr because he developed a rash with the fever. Usually, I would have waited but he's been sick like every 4 days since June 28. Dr thinks it's just viral, not related to the stomach bug but ran blood work just to check things out. I hope this is gone by his birthday (Friday). I'll be back there within 24 hours for K's well baby check. There are shots at 18 months, right? Sorry about the HFM thunderenterprise! No fun!

My little man makes me smile so much. He is so much more to handle than G ever was but he is just so cute about things.
He likes to say “ahhhh” after drinking water like it was the most refreshing thing ever. He he is also really in love with his own belly and it makes me laugh. He pats it and shows it off all the time.

He says it like 50x a day and it always makes me laugh 😂

bassa, when we flew to Iceland with E (he was 2yo then), we just did rented the car seat along with the car. It worked out fine! I say do whatever is easiest and won't cost a boatload of money.

pinkcat, we are trying to distinguish between V's "thank you" and "here you go" because sometimes we think she says one and sometimes the other but in similar situations!

thunderenterprise, love the pigtails! I keep trying them on V but she rips them out. She'll only leave her one little sticking-up-in-the-front 'do alone.

The water table was worth every penny we paid for it. This is the second summer we have it and it gets so much use.

easternshoregirl oh she pulls then out for sure. I just persist and keep putting them back. Her hair is her favorite napkin, so I'm constantly putting it back up no matter how I style it.

We are finally getting very settled into the new house. I am about 90% unpacked with the exception of our books. We need to buy more bookshelves before those can be unpacked.
We just ordered an amazon echo show. It was half the price that it usually is. We are moving the echo dot that is in the kitchen to my bedroom and putting the show in the kitchen.

Yay for walking sarahh! A random question for you ladies...how much time does your LO spend outside? I worry I'm not taking DS out enough. We do take him on walks everyday in his stroller and he plays in the driveway or backyard for maybe 20 minutes each day. Our yard is small and close to the road so it's stressful having him out there much longer because he runs so much! We do take him to parks on the weekends, the zoo, etc. But it's so nice out and I feel bad about how much time we spend indoors!

pinkcat, we don't spend much time outside because it's so hot here but daycare takes them out a few times a day I think to play on the playground equipment. Not sure how long at a time though because of the heat.

I don’t even take him out every single day. We take him out as often as possible but sometimes it just doesn’t work out. It’s also super hot right now and he gets hot very quickly.

We spend a lot of time outside on the weekends. Like from sun ip to sundown some days with the exception of meal time/nap time. He usually looks to go outside as soon as he’s awake. Daycare takes him out multiple times a day.
But we also know that come November to April outside time could be limited by the weather.

Is it too young to start night terrors? The last couple of nights the baby has been waking up screaming and last night I had to rock him but he just looks up at you and stares. I finally got him to settle by turning on a music box but’s it odd to me.
