How are our babies not babies anymore?? Every day it seems like K is giving me more sass. This morning I got "no, no, no" when I asked him to do something. were definitely hitting the tantrum phase when things don’t go his way. Mine lost his shit after I turned off blippi on the tv this morning. He likes to exclaim "Bippi, Bippi"

We have a blippi obsession over here and big kid likes The Wiggles. We have a lot of singing going on in our house almost constantly.

I had a rough day with my anxiety (thanks, period) and DH was less than supportive and just basically told me I need to talk to my dr again without any empathy which is unlike him. Hoping tomorrow is better.

I’m sorry jessijean. I’ve found my meds work for everyday anxiety but I still struggle when my trigger points happen (sickness, work deadlines to name a few). My H tends to be not as understanding since he thinks the meds are a cure all. I’ve found being vocal with him about needing extra support and why has been helpful for both of us.

We don't know Blippi over here, but the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Puppy Dog Pals obsession is real.

Are your Jan/Feb '18 babies into TV? V hasn't shown any interest still.
My almost 4yo was pretty into the "Babies for Babies" movie on Amazon before he was 2yo but that is no longer available. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Just video of babies playing on playgrounds and stuff. He LOVED it.

He likes paw patrol and puppy dog pals. He likes Sesame Street. He also likes the price is right. 🤷🏻♀️ One day Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was on and he watched that for a bit. He was pretty tired and he was snuggling so he probably would have watched anything. Lol

Lol DD likes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Puppy Dog Pals, but I wouldn't say that they hold her attention for very long. She will zombie out to kids animated songs on YouTube and the videos of real animals doing animal things and making animal noises.

Sometimes he will settle for Blaze which is ds1 current obsession.

dS2 occasionally shows interest in the tv but nothing that he freaks out about if I turn the tv off or anything like that. Now take a broom away from him and he will flip out.

End of last week was hectic wfh with two kids under my feet trying to figure out what was going on with DS2’s stomach. We’re still not sure what’s going on because he was fine from Thursday on and yesterday again he had diarrhea at daycare. And I feel so bad for him because it like burns his skin including the inside Of his legs. We can’t figure out what’s causing it so I’m considering calling the pediatrician.

kbw, do you think it is something in his diet or a bug? Obviously you don't know for sure, but are you thinking one or the other? We've dealt with "weird" digestion with DS from the beginning (he's nearly 4) and have gone through thinking it was dairy, then fruit then ???? Have you tried probiotics/yogurt to see if that helps straighten him out? I just suggest it because we're making an effort to figure E out this summer and Activia seems to be helping. Feel free to ignore if all of this is completely off base with what you are dealing with!

easternshoregirl we have no idea what’s causing it and it doesn’t seem to be the same food twice. I have stomach sensitivities and with his size/low iron we’re beginning to wonder if we’re missing something. And the last time we gave him probiotics it made him poop more.

kbw, DD1 had something that sounds similar for over a month when she was just over 2. Our preschool at the time made us keep her home. We did allergy testing which didn't come up with anything and did a stool analysis that determined it was some sort of weird viral infection. Of course it couldn't be treated with antibiotics so we just had to ride it out. We spent a ton of money on the testing and couldn't treat it. Not sure if it will be the same for you or not but it's good that your daycare is still taking him. We ended up having to pay for alternate care so double the cost for a full month. If you're worried, definitely ask your ped but it could just be something that needs to run its course as well.

Yes on them looking like little kids! I think the change in outfits makes it stand out too, more shirts/shorts outfits and less rompers/onesies.

The change from 18-24 month clothes to 2T makes me so sad! I feel like the little boy options are so much less cute once 2T hits. It's good for my bank account lol but I'm going to be so sad to be in full toddler clothes soon.

I’ve got a few pics since we went to the beach last week. DD2 was hilarious. She did NOT like the sand. I tried to set her down a few times and she would pull her legs up so they wouldn’t touch the sand and say “eww eww!” Haha Eating/inspecting asparagus Cheesin’

Ds2 sat in a booster seat at the table tonight and loved it. His personality is so big and it’s funny come from someone so small (we’re still mainly in 12 month clothes and look only about 12 months old). Here he is last week when I kept him home from daycare

sarahh I think I would be less concerned if he wasn’t so small and this isn’t the first time this has happened but you’re right it could just be a weird virus. I deinfitely think since he’s in an in home daycare makes a big difference compared to a center. I don’t think a center would take him with it.

I deinfitely think since he’s in an in home daycare makes a big difference compared to a center. I don’t think a center would take him with it. We find the same with our home care provider. We are pretty sure DS has something up with his digestive system and he surely would have been sent home more often due to "diarrhea" at a center but not due to any bugs/viruses, just probably from fruit (our current theory). DCP has had him since 7 months so she knows the situation very well.
