Morning. Last day of swimming lessons! It is 80 degrees and 80% humidity. Too damn hot to be sitting outside. We will find a pool to go to this afternoon after lunch. I told a coworker I would work for her this evening so that’s my plans for the rest of the day.

M2 is fine. His teachers say he is doing really good. I expected him to adjust well. M was fine for the first few weeks, but now something seems to be up. I may need to try getting him to bed earlier to make sure he is getting enough sleep, but the naps make it hard for him to go to bed any earlier. I’m mostly off the next two weeks, so I may keep him home a few days.

lahdeedah oh sad for M, that is hard. Is he happy at night afterwards?

Yep. He likes when we pick him up early. His teacher sends pics throughout the day and he seems fine. He isn’t happy in the morning and before bed he will gripe about having to go the next morning.

DH is home and just disassembled the washing machine to remove a faulty 'water inlet valve' (thank you, Google)...water was leaking into the machine even with it off  

So he and B are headed out for a new valve. This washer/dryer are not ours--they came 'as-is' with the house, which means we are on the hook if they break. Soooo DH is going to repair this one and then we're swapping it out for ours (which is stored in the garage). I was hoping to have to avoid that hassle but this washer sucks and I want mine, darn it. LOL.

10 months. I can do this.

Hi! Thanks for the tag tgrimes. I am laying on the couch with with about 20 minutes to myself between a vet appointment and picking up the kids from summer camp. What better way to use it than to check in here!

Things are crazy hectic, but pretty good over here. Bea is walking, you guys. Please tell me Poppy, Arlo and Emma are too. What happened to the babies? I swear I never get used to how fast they grow up. Oh, and in other news...we might be moving to LA (holler cagoldi & chrisy01). My husband is looking at a transfer to be closer to clients for work. It was coming down to NY and LA and I'm pushing for the golden state. Bea and I are joining him on a trip out there in 2 weeks to scout out the areas he is likes for us. He'll be working for the first couple days we are there, but I am ok with chilling by myself and only ONE kid by the pool 😉

Sorry, I've been MIA...It's been insane since the kids got out of school. All five at once is no joke 😳 But I'll try to pop on more frequently now that I get a break with summer camp. Miss you guys!

Crazy stuff for you!! I hope things settle down. Arlo isn't walking quite yet but is walking assisted and walking along furniture. He'll be 16mo next week. Where is my little baby!? L asked to look at his baby pictures today and I had all the feels looking at his adorable tiny self! How did my under 4lb baby turn into a TODDLER!?

Yup, Miss P is not walking, so much as running everywhere. Girl is nonstop. She’s a daredevil, too, and always wants to climb after and chase her brothers. Here she is showing off her new shades.

Cotton candy grapes are back! I shrieked with glee when I saw them.

X’s appointment was great! The pedi actually went along with our plan to do the Floortime method instead of ABA, said it is not as popular but still evidence-based, and is perfectly appropriate for his needs. Feeling very relieved ATM.

dapostrophe lol, i count in terms of when we'll officially start house-hunting, so 6ish months? I got *my* washing machine out of storage today, though, and am so freaking happy. I may end up on a TLC show, "i'm in a relationship with my household appliance". Y'all knew me when... So when would you guys be looking to move, if that works out? Before the new school year starts, or sometime later in the year? Probably a bit nerve-wracking but exciting, too!

Ugh. MH is out of town and Ben woke up about 1.5 hours ago throwing up. Before bed S was crying saying his tummy hurt and I feel like crap.

I just put B back in his crib, cleaned everything for the 3 rd time, and am laying on my bed staring at the monitor.
