I have a cold and feel like crap. I'm so damn tired...I almost called into work, but hate to use PTO to sleep.

We got rid of Evie's old swing set yesterday, then her and I went to the pool for 3 hours. It was only 75, so I never got in the water, but I got a sunburn. Someday I will learn.

I'm exhausted and sore. I did a lot this weekend and it's catching up to me today. I'm going to get everything set up for Tigger today and I think I'll be getting him Wednesday.

I need a do-over. Yard crew is at the office blocking all the parking spots and I almost got side-swiped by a big ass white truck that was clearly not paying attention. He was crossing the center line, so I honked and the amount of swerving he then did tells me he was on his phone or something. I thought he was going to flip his truck. I'm saying "He", but it could have been a she.

I just keep reminding myself, 3 work days, then I get 5 days off. Just make it through the 3.

Waiting while they do an oil change and fix my ac. Charlie is just started to resist, so hopefully they’re done soon.
We’ll make a target and a bed, bath and beyond run after this.

I'm at work. I've emailed the pedi because M's eczema is out of control and the prescription I have isn't helping at all, left a message for the ENT about H's other eardrum rupturing and left a message with the infectious disease nurse about H's lab orders.

I need an assistant to keep up with all of this shit.

And Hi!

I have been reading along but not had time to post. Spa days were great, but too short. Then on the way home I got a flat in the middle of nowhere. So I had to wait for AAA (yes I could have attempted to change it, but A) I didn't want to, and B) It was sooooooo buggy where we were, literally we stepped outside for 2 minutes to investigate and each got bitten multiple times and my girlfriend got a tick on her.)

Anyway, we waited for AAA, then, since I only had a donut, not a real tire, we found a tire shop and waited for a real tire. I got home with 2 minutes to spare before pick up so that sucked, I didn't even get to unpack.

Then we had a super fun weekend. T Ball, birthday party, BBQ with S Day Care crew and we all got sad and nostalgic b/c it's coming to an end.

Hi ladies. My house is a disaster so I guess I should attempt to do something about that.

Last night my children went through a rite of passage and witnessed Artax's death. I thought The Neverending Story might not hold up for their generation but they loved it. Hopefully we'll finish it tonight.

I made my dad observe the shit I deal with with his drivers for an hour. Maybe he'll calm the fuck down now about me being the one that needs to speed things along. He came to drop a few things off and talk about an insurance claim we have and I just ignored him while I put out fires so he could see that it's the guys and not me wrecking havoc.

I need to get my physical for insurance and don't want to. They don't take into account that I'm pregnant and I'm sure my BMI will be "obese"

Every time I refer to 'speech', C thinks I'm saying 'beach' and says she's going to put her bathing suit on. Girlfriend is going to be very disappointed when we get to our destination

What should be a sort of relaxing week for me will certainly not be. I have a to do list a mile long from unpacking boxes, to running errands, etc.

Today pest control is coming, so I’m trying to tidy up and get stuff off the floor. I’m hoping to get to the gym before pick up.

M2 started his new school today. Of course he cried when I passed him to the teacher, but I hope he has warmed up by now.

Morning! It was a long weekend due to Pentecost Monday. There was a fair, a bit further out, and we thought it would be a good ride. My normal bike is broken, so we took the cargo. Five miles, against the wind, I forgot how heavy that bike can be 😂😂😂. All in al we cycled 15 miles today, so I’m rewarding myself with taco’s.

I drove to the beach house to wait for the Plummer to fix the leak. My builder called as I was pulling in the driveway to say he’s coming tomorrow instead. I told him I was already here and he needed to come today. He said he found someone else to come but then changed back to the original guy who will be here by 12. It’s 1 now. I have C and the dog here and it’s pouring out so we are climbing the stairs top to bottom over and over again and playing with plastic knives.

Hi hi - we have a community service week and a group of 5 of us just went to a community store that focuses on kids and business attire. We sorted clothes and it was super rewarding. There was a line out front when it opened and there were so many donations to sort through. The lady in charge got so excited every time kids stuff came in, so I def want to donate stuff there. Members of the store get "$40" a month to spend there, which is free, but just a limit per month. It was super interesting to go through the donations, there was some good stuff! Now in a Lyft to chipotle and then I guess I have to work.

tallb That sounds similar to a place I volunteered at in ATL for Junior League. We focused on business attire for women interviewing/entering the workforce. Very gratifying.

I can't remember if I mentioned it, but last week at B's speech eval there was a woman from my MOPS group there with one of her kids. She's nice enough, just kind of annoying. We were there Thursday but scheduled B's sessions for M/W, so I was hoping that was the last of it. NOPE, apparently she's there almost every day, including Mondays at our time slot. Wednesdays remain to be seen, lol.

I realize this makes me sound terrible, but I just don't want to interact...let me sit here in silence and read/play on my phone in peace while C entertains herself.
