C had kindergarten round up yesterday. He was so nervous! I though once we got in there and he saw a few kids he knew from school it would ease his fears but he was still super nervous. When he had to separate from me he shed one tear and then put on his brave face. Luckily he ended up having so much fun! They do a Popsicle event closer to when school starts so he's excited for that.

Getting ready then cleaning my kitchen. I left it a disaster after dinner last night.
I have an ob appointment and start cervical checks this week.. yay.. then just a ton of work since I did nothing yesterday.

Glad he enjoyed it, @wine! Have a good appt, @peach! We have a class field trip this morning (post office, library, and the pizza place) Josie is insisting on bringing a purse. She’s packed it at least four times. She settled on a pen and mini notebook, lipgloss, her favorite bracelet, and a pair of fake glasses so she can “see things more clearly.” Anyone want to take bets on how soon into the field trip I’ll be carrying said purse?

They only did one cervical check for me with each kid (at a little over 38 weeks) Josie the Thursday before the Saturday she was born, and Charlie’s was supposed to be the Friday before he was born, but my back up babysitter was away until Sunday so I moved the appointment till Monday and he there that afternoon. Maybe today could be baby day?

Morning! Dd celebrated her birthday at school today. She was looking forward to it so much, but when all eyes are on her she becomes very very timid, poor thing. Since both kids were in school today I had s glorious 3 hours for me myself and I. The house is a mess, so cleaning would have been the sensible thing to do. Instead I got caught up on greys and new Amsterdam while drinking a latte...

guster I’m sure she will ask within 10 minutes. LO use to do that all the time with his maps or other pirate items. Now I tell him if he brings it’s his responsibility. He doesn’t bring things as often anymore after he lost two maps and I refused to go back for them. (He makes the maps so as soon as we got home he made 4 to replace the 2).

Morning! Dropping LO off at school then taking E to Disneyland to take photos in front of the castle in her 1 outfit and then back home to work on cleaning it up.
So LO graduates on the 20th. I thought that meant preschool was done on the 21st. Nope their last day is actually the 28th. Because they don’t actually have on the year of important dates the last day posted. So LO misses another last day of school since we fly out to OK in the evening of the 21st. It’s nbd but I’m sure LO will be sad.

guster Evie takes a purse with her everywhere, so my guess is she carries it the entire time. I hope you guys have a great day! Morning! The game wasn't terrible last night, but it was 10 by the time I got home, with 3 beers and all the food we ate, I'm exhausted this morning. Nothing exciting here today.

No no no. Not until after June 23rd. Does she have a name yet? She has a last name... And I think we are set on Claire as her middle. For her first, since she's our last we've decided to do something different. I'm taking voting papers in and letting the nurses/doctor/visitors vote on her name from our top choices. Which right now consists of Adrienne, Mallory and Marlee. I'm playing the dying grandmother card with Marlee since her middle name is Lee.

Morning!
Full day here...B's at camp, then he has the speech eval at 1:30, golf at 4, and swim at 6:30. LOL. DH is flying this afternoon so Mom's taxi service will be busy! Today is the last golf lesson for this session so luckily future Wednesdays will not be quite this crazy.
C's bedding finally came (just missing the bedskirt) so I'm getting her room put together this morning.

MH had a flat tire in the middle of the freeway last night and now it looks like our roof is leaking. There's a water spot in the ceiling and I don't think any pipes go that direction.

No leaks or anything, but she noticed some loose shingles one day and called a roofer out to repair them. After seeing her roof, he told her to call insurance, b/c it was apparently bad. Insurance inspected it and agreed...I think their threshold was 25% (so if more than that is damaged, the roof gets replaced).

Both of my BIL's brothers are in the roofing business and they'll go to different locations in OK when a tornado/storm hits. I don't think insurance always covers it but I'll call my insurance to see what we have.

Yeah, insurance doesn't just cover a roof b/c of old age, there typically has to be damage that can be directly attributed to a storm. You might want to talk to a roofer first, before calling insurance. Or if you call insurance, stay anonymous...phrase it as a hypothetical. It'll go on your 'record' that you inquired about your roof. I just learned recently that even inquiries to your HO insurance are 'tracked' and assigned points; your score affects rates and ability to get coverage. I knew about claims but not the inquiries part... apologies if you are up on it already.

Hi!
I have a short day at work. I have a hair appointment and M2’s 2 year well visit this afternoon. My manager said he ate at this Indian restaurant last night that was fantastic, so if I have time, I’ll squeeze in a late lunch before the doc. I’ve always wanted to try Indian cuisine, but never knew where to go or what to get.

I know nothing of insurance, so I don't know if it has to be reported within a time frame following the storm. Like here, after bad storms with high winds and lots of hail, roofing companies drive around and ask if you want a free inspection. Plus when we got our new roof, I know I had to tell insurance the date of the storm.
