Happy anniversary tgrimes! It’s our anniversary today too. We went to dinner last night and i still feel full. I need to stop heating. Ha. On our way to church now and plan on a family bike ride this afternoon before my parents for dinner. Yes! Anniversary twins! Happy anniversary to y’all! |

Hi! Back from family weekend. It was fun, but I’m so tired! Dd was up three nights in row and after 4 days I’m a little overstimulated. Plus I’m on the period from hell. I peed on a stick last week, because I was feeling weird and had horrible break outs and of course got my period next day (waste of money...). It is 90 degrees today (soooo hot for this time of year), fingers crossed the kids will go down and stay down tonight so I can catch some much needed zzzz’s.

slenle and tgrimes happy anniversary! Thank God today isn't my anniversary. I have cleaned up dog shit, shampooed the carpet because of said dog shit, put away and reorganized evies dresser (she needs to learn to neatly put her clothes away) made French toast for breakfast, and threw away a target bag from the top of her dresser because it was all stupid little shit. H has sat on his ass playing on his phone.

Yard is mowed. My mom goes to my sils 2 nights a week and feeds their kids, bathes them and plays until bedtime. Mostly because my sil is just as pregnant as I am but my brother is 0 help parenting. My mom keeps offering to do the same but A does plenty (most of the time at least) and I'd rather one of us do it just for routine sake. But she desperately wants to help so when she saw me mowing she grabbed her mower and started on the other side and we knocked it out quick.

Interesting everyone is returning these beds! I am actually sleeping well but I hate when I sit in the side of the bed and it feels like I'm going to slide off. Mh mentioned getting a king despite our room being small, so I may try to measure that off. I went to Barre and played outside for a bit. Mh is going to the O's game and not taking j🙄. So I won't get anything done this afternoon.. I feel like it's a summer weekend and we need to be at the pool, seeing friends, or something summery, and we are not doing any of those things. Uh get the king! More sleeping room is way more important than the walking room. |

And in the never ending drama that is my useless cousins.. shes using her oldest son , B, to guilt my grandma into not moving out. Saying B goes into her room and just cries because hes going to be homeless. Like that's her fucking fault. They're going to be homeless when she dies and that's going to be real soon. And it's not like shes making them leave. Shes literally taking her clothes and bird and leaving. The bank can deal with evicting them after shes gone. Shes still paying the bills until she dies. I just dont know how you can be so incredibly selfish.

Happy anniversaries! Happy belated birthday nam2013! J got invited to go play in a neighbors backyard (3 houses down across the street so not within earshot) but I've never been there, it was lunch time, and I'm fairly certain he has to poop and not sure he'd know to tell the mom. I declined but feel guilty since it was his first invite. |

The break in process was the worst so getting one that’s already broken in would be nice. |

I have spent the whole morning removing the grass. I’m almost done so I’ll stop talking about it soon. I’m so freaking glad. Next Saturday we will take all the cut off sod to the landfill and bring home a huge load of compost(it’s closed on sunday or I’d do it today). Then it’s the fun part, planting! There was a huge sale earlier this week and I bought 2 more roses, whoops. I’m planning to put one in a pot on my deck. I can’t wait till they fill in so I can cut some for inside of my house. We will probably just relax and hang out for the rest of the afternoon. tgrimes and slenle happy anniversary! |

tallb you are taller than me, I imagine your H is tall too...as long as you have room for nightstands I would go for the king! Could you recycle duvet, etc in your guest room or something? Just for reference, if it helps you...we have a pretty small master (compared to our last house, esp)—roughly 12x15. 4-poster king bed, 2 good-sized nightstands with a double dresser, bachelor chest for my H, and an upholstered chair in the corner. I don’t have room to do cartwheels but it’s plenty of space and does not feel too tight or anything.

Got the house relatively picked up. Tried to do some yard work, but it's too hot and I didn't last long. So I come in to take a shower, cool off, relax and just minutes within stepping into the shower, Cadence is banging on the door that she fell off her scooter and it's all mh's fault.
Finish my shower and check on her. It's a scrape from knee to ankle, but only her ankle is slightly bleeding, nothing major. Apparently mh was trying to reach her to balance and well, she didn't.
I think I'm going to hire someone to clean out my flower beds. It's just too hot for me. I'll do the planting part, though. I just need them cleared first.

A and I do what I call "hug and roll" neither of us are snugglers. I dont even want know hes in the bed lol. King bed is the very best.

TBH our duvet cover is due for a refresh, it's 9 years old and the white stripe part isn't as crisp as it used to be, so wouldn't be the end of the world. The extra rooms have twins/ cribs in it, but I imagine someday we will get someone a full bed someone. I just measured and I think it's roughly 12x12 but we have armoires built ins that open. And 2 matching 5 drawer dressers and night stands. I think if we got slimmer night stands it could fit or we could rotate everything 90 degrees and it would all fit as is.. and yes we are both over 6' with a large 5 year old that tries to join us most mornings, so if N ever starts that too, we will be in trouble! |
