peachsmama I wish E wanted her dad to make breakfast. I dont think he's ever made her breakfast! Taking evie to my nieces dance competition this morning. I need to grab a few more groceries today but it should be a chill weekend.

Bless them, the kids slept past 7. I just cleaned up breakfast stuff and might sneak in a shower; DH is flying and should be home by 11.
Today we’re going to see Aladdin and then get Mexican for dinner. It’s raining here (much needed) so glad we did not have outdoor plans!

C is in a ‘mommy only’ phase right now and throws down if she requests me and DH intervenes/attempts to help her. She loves her daddy so I’m like, darn girl, please let him do some things for you!
Not sure if this is a UO or confession but i
I can safely say it would not hurt my feelings AT ALL if she transferred her dependence to my H 😂

C is in a ‘mommy only’ phase right now and throws down if she requests me and DH intervenes/attempts to help her. She loves her daddy so I’m like, darn girl, please let him do some things for you! Not sure if this is a UO or confession but i I can safely say it would not hurt my feelings AT ALL if she transferred her dependence to my H 😂 I’m having the same problems. But with both kids. Ha ha ha! |

Morning.
We’re up and chilling, J is still rolling around in her bed nattering/singing. B was asking a lot of questions about what MH is going through with the stones and his idea was to turn him upside, ‘like a handstand, Mom’, and shake the stone out through his mouth. So, we might be trying that today since nothing else is working 😉🤷♀️
Not to much on the agenda today but sportball for Julia, driving range for B and grocery shopping.

Cadence woke up at 10:30 last night, because of course she did. It took about 44 minutes to get her back to sleep, but it was fine because she wanted to go to her bed. Bye!
Then she was up at 6:30 wanting to watch pj masks and do some bead crap.
Now we're at gymnastics and its the only thing we have planned this weekend.

Not sure what is up for today. I have no plans yet. I need to take M2 to burn some energy, but not sure where to go.
I’m taking a nap when he does. We are sleeping in the same bed at my friend’s house and he moves so much. I get no good sleep. So tired.

Good Morning! I’m currently soaking in the tub. Then I’m running to target to return something and find something else to work. I might have to go to Michaels and get crafty. I need to frost cupcakes and start loading up the car with non perishable things for E’s party tomorrow. (*hoping not to forget anything fingers crossed 🤞)

Morning! I finally made it to running group, woohoo! It was so fun though I am so out of shape. I know all the traveling is taking a toll and making it harder to get back. Boo. So you can imagine how annoyed I was last night when I got an email requesting that I fly out to San Francisco for a 2 hour meeting this week. I'm already in NYC on Tuesday and have appointments on Wednesday and Thursday that are actually reschedules from my last somewhat last minute trip to Calgary. Not to mention the work I owe one of our partners and it's code freeze on Friday. And there's the whole part of simply being away so much and how that impacts the boys and DH... I clearly need to talk to my manager.
Anyhow in better news, I only got 20 units in my 11s and just below my hairline, which was definitely a light dose - "baby Botox", as the nurse called it. I'm obsessed and ready to try some other areas.
DH is at soccer with Chase and Colin has tball later. I think it's supposed to be nice all day so maybe we'll hit the trail or a park. I need to lift still, do a bit of laundry, and maybe work. But at least I'm home!

Morning. I’m at work. My coworker needed the day off so I picked up her shift. I am super tired this morning, so a nap will be in order when I get home. I also might try and get more sod removed, I am so ready for that project to be done.

Chase is very much in a Mommy phase but Colin has turned a corner and really loves hanging out with DH. It's awesome, not just because it gives me a bit of a break, but it's so nice to see them bonding.

Hi hi, N was up and screamed for me in the MOTN, mh went and she refused to calm down for him. I literally rubbed her back and she was fine. Now at the dealership waiting for an oil change. I walked to HomeGoods bc I have a gift card and I just don't enjoy that shopping experience. Sensory overload and no patience to Wade through stuff without a purpose. So then I went to a mattress store and I think I want to return our foam one. He has a floor model he'd sell at 70% off, so would be super cheap. Is that super gross? We put mattress pad and sheets on, so I'm kind of thinking not?
We have tball later and then may check out a pool open house even though I think we will prob just stick to county pools this year since we don't go enough to justify the fee.

C had a baseball game this morning and did great. Then we went to the playground and biked at home. He’s doing great so we ventured out to the main road to go to the next block and he did so good. I think he’s ready for the bike path but we need to figure out how to get our bikes there since it’s a bit of a dangerous ride to get there.
Tonight we have a sitter and dh and I are going to the movies. Dh is annoying me lately so I’m not looking forward to it like I should. We need to go to counseling to work out some long-standing issues but I’m not even sure how to broach the subject and how we can make scheduling work so I’m burying it for now.

We went to the zoo this morning then checked out the new Arch grounds and the river level. It's supposed to rise 3 more feet but we hit the 2nd highest record today. You can see the street sign which is on the other side of a road. I think il do the slip and slide after nap   |

Hi hi. Just dropped N off at a birthday party and was hoping to take a quick nap with h but he’s jumping on the bed like a mad man. We camped last night and everyone slept through the thunderstorm except me, so I’m a little sleepy.
We have a sitter tonight and are heading to dinner. It’s been too long since we’ve had a date night.

Hi ladies. Our taekwonfamily did our first tournament today. Overall it went well and we had fun. We came home with a ridiculous amount of trophies because they give them away like candy. The girls both placed first in different events.

Sunny41 the flooding here is record setting. None of the local lakes are open at all, campground flooded, boats not allowed on lakes. It's crazy. This May was recorded as the most rain ever on record. Farming communities are devastated. And it's currently raining, although we did have a 3 day break and managed to get the yard mowed finally.

Aladdin was good! B is already asking to see it again and C did really well. This was her first 'live action' movie (the handful of others she's been to were all animated) so i wasn't sure if she'd get bored, but she *loved* the musical numbers. We were going to take the kids out to eat tonight, but our sitter texted that she had an unexpected opening, so she's coming to hang with the kids and DH and I are going out for Mexican  |

wedding I'm with you, I enjoy HomeGoods but I have to be kid-free. It is the most stressful place ever to take kids (esp. once mine figured out there's a toy dept). tallb I'm not a TJMaxx/Marshalls shopper for your reasons, though; I don't have the patience to dig through racks of clothes. I will pay more to be able to easily get what I want. eta: would also be fine with a floor model mattress...the areas where heads/feet goes are typically covered. With that said, I've noticed floor models are typically already "broken in" (vs. how a brand new one feels in terms of firmness, etc.) so I would be double check to make sure it's in good shape.
