This part is key (and I'm paraphrasing): If we had confidence that the president did not commit a crime, we would have said so. Dems needs to scream this from the goddamn rooftops starting IMMEDIATELY. 45 and the GOP keep screaming “no collusion” - well motherfuckers, from the damn horse’s mouth - we would have SAID that if it was true, and by the way, we couldn’t charge him anyway because it’s un-fucking-constitutional to indict a sitting president. Not that the GOP gives a fuck about the Constitution anyway unless it’s 2A.

I have a lot of respect for Mueller. That needed to be done.

I'm already extremely annoyed at some of the hot takes on Twitter. The man did his job. What more do you want from him? Now everyone else needs to do theirs. I'm seeing a lot of "Can we move on now?" on FB. Yeah no. Mueller basically told Congress to do it's damn job and start the impeachment process (because the DOJ is unable to indict a sitting president, not that he is innocent of committing any crimes).

You know what really kills me? If Mueller had been investigating President Hillary, the GOP would be doing everything they can to make damn sure you can indict a sitting president.

Key points:
Russian intelligence interfered on multiple levels.
There's insufficient evidence to say with a certainty that Trump/Trump campaign aided in that interference.
The DOJ is unable to indict a sitting president. Period.
We would state clearly that the president was completely innocent if we had found that to be true.

Hi! I just saw the headlines and ran over here.
I feel like this is the best possible scenario. He said what we needed him to say before congress and now we don’t have to listen to a bunch of Congress people wax poetically about whatever they want in a sound bite.
He left it to Congress.
They didn’t clear him.

Accurate:
"You know that scene in The Incredibles where Mr. Incredible tells an old lady how he can't possibly help her with her insurance claim and she definitely shouldn't fill out this specific form and take it to this specific office"

She looked realllly uncomfortable. Lots of nervous laughter, and CT was just grinning from ear to ear.

I'm damn near hyperventilating Hes speaking because the investigation is complete and he is formally closing the investigation. he is resigning from DOJ to return to private practice I just gasped That means they can subpoena him right?

Oh I hope they don't. I mean. For my own partisan personal desires I want him to spill all the tea but that's not Bob Mueller. And he's doing the right and patriotic thing here. That report is exhaustive. They drew conclusions where appropriate. It would be inappropriate for him to weigh in or pontificate further.

Eh. I don't think anyone here is canonizing him. I don’t think anyone here is either. I just thought it was an interesting point of view. Along the lines of “if Amash is getting standing ovations, what has a majority (shrinking but still there) of actual Dems spooked about how impeachment is going to play?” It’s just interesting times.

I went on twitter for the first time in at least a week to get the Mueller takes and I lost my breath almost immediately over abortion tweets. I’m still not in a good place over any of that. I feel very raw.
