We were told to be there at 945 and the run festivities started at 1000. It didn’t start until 1030 and finished around 1115

We just got a letter from our Health insurance that they are ending the contract with our only hospital/ clinic on sept 1. I’m freaking out. I don’t want to deliver this baby in a different hospital. And don’t want to drive to another town for OB care. My OB is a friend and I just won’t everything to stay the same, especially since this is my last baby. I don’t get why the can’t just wait until the end of the year so we can switch our insurance provider. The timing is horrible.

An exciting night hanging out at the childrens hospital waiting for evie to drink enough water for her ultrasound. She drank quite a bit on the way here, but apparently it wasn't enough. She basically has to drink till she does the potty dance.

L was so tired and miserable I put her to bed at 6:30 (normal bedtime is 7/7:30). Apparently girl just needed a cat nap and woke up at 7 ready to party. Glad she's feeling better, but really thought she was down for the night....

It was, but luckily she just put herself back to bed in her crib.

Speaking of which, any other 3 year olds who can climb in and out still sleeping in the crib? She has a bed in her room, but loves the crib! Do I push the bed or continue not giving a fuck since she's happy and sleeps well? I know she'd sleep fine in her bed too if we got rid of the crib, she's slept in it a handful of times. Ok... I've talked it out in my head as I type and realize I'm trying to hold onto her as a baby and she may prefer it but is probably ready to move on. But again, does it really matter???

Can anyone tell I took tgrimes vodka recommendation!?

Agree. My sitters daughter slept in her crib until 3.5. She was petite and fit and just loved her crib.

slenle when are you due? I ask because having a baby is a qualifying life event that would allow you to change your insurance plan with most places. Like ours you can change up to 31 days prior to the event and 60 days after. So if it’s a short time between 9/1 and when you are due then maybe you can make a switch then. Otherwise I would ask your OB her recommendations for somewhere/someone else and maybe call the insurance company to see if there’s any way around it, although I doubt it.

It took is forever to get home. We were under a tornado watch, it was flat ass pouring on the way home, and there was an accident on the highway, causing horrible delays.

We finally got home and the damn sirens started going off. Everything is fine here... definitely not a normal Friday for us.

And now we wait till Tuesday for results.

K orientation was fine. I didn't know what to expect but they took the kids and told them their parents were going to go do paperwork and I legit had to try not to tear up. I hadn't prepared himself or me for that at all. He was of course totally fine, but did say he didn't feel like talking about it when I asked what they did later. I did see a mom that lives a few doors down and gave her my cell so we can get together and she's inviting us to a bday party next month and we chatted about pools to join🤞🤞 I hope our boys get along, we seem to be very similar, we even have the exact same car.

And then we drove 5 hours for a 3.5 hour trip. My aunt and uncle had pizza waiting for us and now all heading to bed.

Since you’re in the middle of your pregnancy I would try to petition your insurance to make them pay in network to your current doctor/hospital. That’s crap though, I’m sorry.

I ended up taking the kids to a science museum and then Wendy’s for lunch. They have 50c frostys so of course I couldn’t say no to that. The sun came out this afternoon so we spent a little time outside. After supper I ran to target, came home and dyed my hair (Buh-bye grays!) and now I need to go to sleep.

Oh, also there has been a juvenile robin hanging around my house. I literally almost could have touched it but I decided not to try and get that close. I don’t mind it being around, but it keeps pooping on my stuff. I hope it flies away soon.
