Am I the only one who totally freezes when in a public bathroom and someone knocks on the door? Like, I realize you're supposed to say "almost done!" or "Someone's in here" or something... but I freeze and feel panic and say nothing.

I usually say something because I've been the person on the other side of the door not knowing if I'm just an idiot that can't open the door or if someone is really in there. |

I sat in 3 hours of traffic after school yesterday with the kids to get to the beach but today is a beautiful day. C slept great last night until T burst into my room this morning asking where his close were. DH is golfing and my sister and I just finished a grocery run. DS1 is loving that we let him and my nephew wander free down here. There are kids everywhere and hopefully he makes friends.

Y'all...after a random discussion on our adjacent teams dessert habits at lunch time, my new boss blocked our teams calendar at 12:30 today to go for ice cream 🍦 That is awesome! Enjoy! |

Did you guys know you can customize VISA gift cards? I might do this for C's teachers and have the gift card be a picture of him. You can put the recipients name and a short message on the gift card too.

cagoldi,I'm glad you guys liked it. I miss going to it but we just can't fit it in with karate and baseball right now. It's given him some good tips on how to do the things he was doing anyway, safer.

Back from graduation and lunch. Cadence did great! She sang loud and clear. I loved watching them all get their diplomas and awards. Cadence got the "best artist" award.
FIL came and we went to lunch afterwards at a hamburger place.
She then became super whiny and I looked at the clock and it's dc naptime, so she is currently laying in my bed having quiet time with her tablet. I won't be surprised if she falls asleep, it was a lot of activity for 1 morning.

tgrimes another thing for a 5yo, ds loves his play binoculars! When I asked for recommendations the mom specifically said a science book with experiments or an activity set. I had one saved in my cart awhile back but I must have deleted it. |

I left work early to take C to the Dr. He's had a low grade fever off and on all week and yesterday it turned into a huge fever and super sore throat. Strep. L also has a fever and sore throat and luckily the Dr just wrote her a perscription without seeing her so I didn't need to take her to get tested. tgrimes, is there a wine for this? I get strep easily and am fully prepared to drink it away. |
