Coinstone will finally join the conversation. Any reward if we find a way to solve this little problem of yours? Would that inn keeper know more? She said she was an adventurer.

The sheriff guffaws "Well you're an honest dwarf if I ever saw one. Not just in it for the glory are you? We can probably work something out. Are you folks planning on staying around for awhile? Lots of cleanup left to do here, and if we need some help, I would be willing to make it worth your while.

Novalia looks at the sheriff. "Were many lives lost today? I would be glad to help any way I can. I'm sorry about the festival, it was beautiful while it lasted,"
She turns to her companions, "although I wouldn't mind stopping at the inn first to clean up," she motions to her blood spattered clothing and face.

If'in we go to the inn, I'm looking to gather my gear and head out after some goblins. The little biter's may not be worth much, but their hides make excellent leather. Coinstone pauses for a moment before continuing. That's not actually true, I just enjoy killing goblins.

The sheriff turns away to talk to one of his men in hushed tones. "I just got word that somethinng's happened in the Boneyard. I could definitely use your help with that, but you are welcome to clean up first."

Ay! I'm looking forward to seeing what your lizard can do, Figit. And Coinstone heads off towards the inn to gather the rest of his weapons. When he comes back to the town square, he's carrying a massive metal tower shield and is strung about with half a dozen more weapons than when you saw him last.

I haven't left anything at the inn either, but I wouldn't mind cleaning up after that fall. Then Peetree and I will be glad to help however we can, she says, gesturing towards the dinosaur. Figit heads back to the inn to get cleaned up.

While waiting for everyone to return, Sheriff Hemlock tells Sena more about what the problem is, "Father Zantus was checking things in and around the cathedral, just to make sure it was alright, and he found that Father Tobyn's vault had been disturbed. I doubt it's much more than a couple goblins messing about, but I appreciate the back up. I'm not sure if you've heard anything about Father Tobyn, being new to town and all. But he was our previous cleric, he died when the last chapel was burned. Sad, really. He was one hell of a man."

Novalia returns behind Coinstone and Figit, looking much cleaner than she was before. She has left most of her things at the inn for now, shedoesn't want to be weighed down in case of another fight.
She walks over to Sena "Did the sheriff tell you anything else about what's going on? What exactly is the Boneyard, do you know?"

Coinstone looks over the group. Where is all of your armor? And weapons? Don't tell me you lot don't have more weapons. You aren't even carrying more than 3 each. Well, I'm not sharing mine.

You try being less than 3' tall and carrying all this! Figit retorts with a sly grin. She can joke about her size, but she's not entirely sure how far to push her humor on the dwarf yet.

Then looking at Coinstone with a scowl "Violence and weapons does not always have to be the answer to every problem. Compassion and diplomacy are also viable solutions as well."

"How long are you folks planning on sticking around town? I know you said you're interested in helping us with our goblin problem, but there may be other things we could use great adventurers like you for as well."

All depends. If Sister tries to talk nice to the goblins, not long. If we get to fight them, then for as long as there is fighting to be done. Coinstone smiles at Sister congenially and nudges Figit.

When the group reaches the cathedral, Father Zantus comes out. "I'm so glad you've come, Sheriff. And you've brought Sister Sena and her comrades, excellent. I can't believe they'd desecrate this specific vault on accident. Why come into the churchyard at all?"Sheriff Hemlock responds "Who knows why the little blighters do anything? I'm sorry it's happened at all, Father. I'd prefer if you'd stay inside and let the experts take care of things." He beckons the group out into the Boneyard. The vault is a 20-ft stone structure that stands near the wall, and is used to house the remains of all ther previous caretakers, priests, and acolytes who have served Sandpoint. The stonne door is open, and the ground around is churned. DC 13 Perception{Spoiler}Many of the footprints are goblin prints, but some appear to have been left by a larger humanoid. DC 13 Survival{Spoiler}About 6 goblins and 1 Medium humanoid climbed the wall then approached and entered the vault.

Coinstone notices the tracks and begins to follow them, pointing to them. Also, this is mostly to get the game moving again since it's been a few days. Hey, you may not have seen this since your long legs keep your eyes so far from the ground. But looks like the goblins have themselves a leader. Normally, I'd presume it'd be a hobogoblin, but... and Coinstone turns to look at the Sheriff and the Priest (if they Priest is still there). Have you ever had a hobogoblin living in the town? Or any goblinoid? Who would have a..... a thing......Gygax, what's the word in common......Vendetta, that's it.....a vendetta against this dead man?

The sheriff glances at the tracks Coinstone pointed out. "They did say they were working for someone else. I don't think it's a hobgoblin, never seen one around these parts. Not sure who would do it. The whole town loved him. Both him and his daughter perished in the fire. It was an awful thing." He moves closer to the vault "They may still be inside, we should probably check it out."

Sena looks at the tracks where Coinstone and the Sheriff were pointing. She draws her scimitar and silently nods her consent to the plan. "Maybe we should be quieter in case they are still in there. We do not want to alert them to our presence if they do not already know we are here."She told them in a whisper.

Novalia nods her head silently, agreeing to the plan and pulls her star knife from beneath her cloak. She steps up to stand a bit behind Coinstone and waits for the door to be opened.

Sheriff Hemlock steps off to the side and pushes the door open slowly. As soon as it is open, two skeletons leap out and attack the first thing they can reach, which in this case is Coinstone.
1d20+0: 16+0=16 4+0=4 Both miss

The skeletons immediately attack Coinstone again, and miss once again. Attack rolls: 1d20+0 = 18+0=18 1d20+0=12+0=12

Move action 1: move diagonally, then south, so right next to Coinstone Move action 2: draw weapon

Novalia slides easily into her defensive stance. She moves to stand behind Coinstone ready to attack if any of the skeletons are lucky enough to get past him.

Coinstone will take a swing at the first skeleton with his waraxe and yell over his shoulder. Anyone fought skeletons before? Anyone know how to destroy them?
Waraxe: 1d20+4 = 16+4 = 20 Damage: 1d10+3 = 2+3 = 5 (slashing)
