Coinstone also swings at the goblin in flanking.
Waraxe: 1d20+6+2 = 14+6+2 = 22 Damage: 1d10+6 = 10+6 = 16
Coinstone then moves diagonally 5 feet to the north west, then north 5 feet. He should now be standing directly in front of the mounted goblin, ready to fight.
Ah. One more for me. Thanks for distracting it.

The mounted goblin slices at Coinstone with his horsechopper before moving back 20 ft, away from melee.
Attack: 1d20+4=10+4=14.
He misses obviously, and Coinstone can take an attack of opportunity at either the mount or the goblin.

Sena moves north 25 feet and 5 feet east. She attacks the goblin with a swipe of her scimitar. I'm so tired of these monsters messing up this day!
1d20+1= 17+1=18 damage: 1d6= 5+1=6

The one remaining goblin looks at his fallen comrades and turns tail. He runs out the gate and off into the wilderness.

You took care of the goblins quickly. The goblin dog is still here though, fighting, despite the dead owner on its back.

The goblin dog is about 5 ft from the gate.

Novalia sees Coinstone preparing to take out the goblin dog so she turns and begins walking towards the man in the bushes. She puts her blade away to keep from scaring him further but remains alert in case other goblins show up. She moves diagonally 20 feet.

Coinstone's face goes from determination to joy as he sees his chance for another victory. He charges forward to attack.

Figit moves forward, flanking Coinstone. The dwarf looks to have things under control with the goblin dog, but Figit is prepared to move in and help if needed.

Coinstone's swing fells the goblin dog. The area is now safe.
End Initiative
The human comes up to Novalia "Thank you so much for coming to my aid. It was so selfless of you to stand as you did between me and those beasts. Your might at battle must be far renowned. You are as deadly as you are beautiful."
He glances around nervously, sure there are still some goblins lurking about. "Forgive me my manners. I am Alderan Foxglove and I am staying at the Rusty Dragon Inn. I hope you will find me before I leave town, so that I may more properly show you my gratitude."
With one more glance, he scurries towards the center of town, still looking over his shoulder.

Coinstone looks around the area, when he doesn't see any more goblins, he lowers his axe and clasps Figit's shoulder next to him. Figit! That was wonderful. Most fun I've had in days. To bad it looks like Novalia is going to get all the credit from the locals. But humans, eh? What're you going to do? He'll move back towards the others, trying to guide Figit with him (but not force-ably). Good fighting with you all. Think there are any more in town? Think we should talk with the local authorities?

Figit giggles at Coinstone's comment about humans, and goes with him to join the others. We should make sure there aren't any more goblins in the town. I wonder where they came from?

Sena tries to discreetly cover her slightly pointed ears with her hair as Coinstone is being flippant about humans. It makes her a little uncomfortable hearing him talk about her mothers people. "I think it's sweet. Probably just some school boy crush." She tells him. "I believe we may need to talk to the shierff about these goblins. Perhaps he will know what is going on." She says, answering Figits question.

Ah, yes. A sheriff, of course. That's where we should go. Coinstone blusters, but it is obvious he has no idea what a "sheriff" is. Well, Sister, do you think we should follow the "schoolboy"? Or look on our own? Figit? Novalia? I wouldn't mind going back to the inn quickly, for the rest of my gear.

As the party moves back through town, it is obvious the battle has ended. Here and there, it is possible to catch a glimpse of a goblin, but most are dead and the rest are fleeing. Some even jump to their deaths over the cliffs into the water below. There will be no further skirmishes today.
Back in the square before the cathedral, it is even more obvious the festival is over. The injured are being tended by Father Zantus and the other local healers. Merchants are cleaning up whatever of their wares survived the attack. Several able bodied men are helping clear the dead. The rest are heading home, though many stop to say thank you to the party for saving them from the goblins.
Even Ameiko, the owner of the Rusty Dragon, stops by. "You lot have done a decent thing, saving the town from this menace. If you need a place to stay, the Rusty Dragon is open. Free of charge for a week! It's the least I can do."
If you want to look for the sheriff, make either a DC15 perception or Diplomacy check. Perception to find him yourself, Diplomacy if you want to ask some townsfolk.

Figit spots Sheriff Hemlock at the edge of the square overseeing the Town guard, who is in charge of disposing of the goblin corpses.

Novalia blushes at the man before he runs off, she is not used to genuine compliments. Smirking she turns to Coinstone, "Not to worry Dwarf, I may be human, but I give credit where credit is due. You were a valient fighter today and the town is better for it. The two of you as well," she motions to Sena and Figit. "My things are at the inn as well, but lets search out the sheriff."
Novalia follows the others back to the sqaure, pausing to give Sena a grateful smile.

Coinstone goes along with the party, but leaves it to the others to speak to any of the locals. He pulls Gygax off his belt and begins conversing with it in a low voice, speaking dwarven.

He scratches the back of his neck "Only thing I can get out of them is that a longshanks -- that's what they call taller folk mind you -- was the leader of this whole thing. It's all such a mess"
A Diplomacy check of DC15 is needed for him to keep talking to you.

Sena nods in agreement. "I'm sure they are being unhelpful...they didn't seem particularly intelligent. Are there a lot of tribes nearby? And are goblins normally as blood thirsty as the ones that ruined the festival?"
