Sena looks finishes putting the bandages on Novalia as the fire starts.
Perception check: 1d20+8= 10+8=18 Sena sees 4 goblins behind the flaming wagon. "Be careful...there are goblins there." She warns the others, as she draws her Scimitar and walks towards the goblins.

Figit finishes untying Peetree, and mounts him. Lets get ready to help defend this town, my friend! Peetree and Figit move to rejoin the group.
While mounted on Peetree, speed is 60ft.

Novalia thanks Sena as she examines the bandaged wound. She nods to her that she also sees the goblins through the hazy smoke. She moves to follow Sena as she pulls her blade again.

END ROUND FOUR The cart begins to burn and admist the chaos, a strange chanting can be heard. The somewhat thrown together party begins to approach to see what could be occuring behind it. Outside of the square, battle noises continue to be heard. Initiative Order: Goblins = 16 Coinstone = 13 Novalia = 10 Fijit = 9+ Sena = 9-

ROUND FIVE Several goblins rush with forward, brandishing torches with glee. Two of them attack, One swipes at Coinstone, and the other at Novalia, both miss quite abysmally, the latter almost dropping his torch, but their morale is unaffected. A fourth goblin hangs back. The chanting is coming from her, and seems to spur the other goblins on. On Coinstone: 1d20 - 1 = 14-1=13 On Novalia: 1d10-1=1-1=0

Coinstone looks on in slight amusement as more goblins rush out of the smoke. Wonderful, he bellows. A target rich environment.
Attack Goblin catercorner to Coinstone: 1d20+6 = 19+6= 25 Damage to goblin: 1d10+5 = 9+5= 14
Coinstone then steps diagonally one square into the square previously occupied by the now dead goblin, and then north 1 square in order to give flanking to Novalia. Acrobatics to avoid the attack of opportunity: 1d20+3-3 = 14+0= 14

Seeing the other three engaged with the three goblins on the other side of the stage, Figit decides to move toward the chanting goblin. As she urges Peetree forward, she draws her Gnome Hooked Hammer.
Ok, so I'm not actually clear on whether I should fight while riding my animal, or if I can dismount and then we can both attack. How does that work?

bonzo, Since Peetree is not a combat trained mount, it would be a DC20 Ride check to fight while riding. If you fail that, you are not allowed another action that round. I would suggest dismounting (which is a move, or you can do a DC20 Ride check to dismount as a free action, if you fail you can still dismount as a move.

When Peetree gets within 15 feet of the chanting goblin, she whips at his feet trying to trip him.
1d20-2=7-2=5
This is the goblin's prepared action, which was to try and trip any enemy that came within her reach. Obviously, she failed. It goes against Peetree's CMD.

Ok, so on this turn we moved forward (1st action) and drew my weapon (2nd action). We moved to 10 feet away, so that we're ready for dismount and combat on the next turn.

Sena moves next to the last goblin in the group. She swings her scimitar in a sweeping arc. "You won't hurt anyone else!"
1d20+1= 15+1=16 damage 1d6+1= 3+1=4
Moved to stand next to the goblin diagonal to Coinstone and attacked it.
What do you need to hit the goblins? I'm assuming a 16 hit.

mischief, You act before Sena. Also, Coinstone has you set up for flanking with the one diagonal from you, which is a +2 to your attack AND you get your sneak attack damage.

Shit okay I forgot I go first. My original plan was the one diagonal to me. How does my sneak attack work? Just roll 1d6 and add to my damage?
ETA I think Ive fixed it.

END ROUND FIVE
Coinstone and Novalia slay two of the goblins, leaving only the chanter and one more torch wielding goblin, both of whom have been unsuccessful in their attacks thus far, though the still burning wagon shows evidence of their malice and destructability.

ROUND SIX The remaining goblins shriek in anger. The one by Sena takes steps behind her, moving away from Coinstone and Novalia. Shrieking in anger, he drops his torch and draws his dogslicer, slashing at her. Attack: 1d20+=18+3=21 Damage: 1d4+1=2+1=3The other goblin contines to chant, stepping away from Petree and Fijit, back towards the cart. The chant changes a little bit and suddenly Fijit feels a bit odd The first goblin takes a 5 ft step. The second moves back 15 ft and casts a spell. Fijit needs to make a DC12 Will save or be overcoming with laughter (per the spell hideous laughter). If Fijit fails the save, then you fall off your mount and are prone, taking 3 pts of damage.

That's not just a war chant, Coinstone thinks to himself. New plan. Coinstone will move diagonally 5 feet, then forward 15. This will provoke attacks of opportunity from both goblins as he moves forward to stand even with the chanter. Presuming he stays on his feet after athn64, makes her attacks, Coinstone will attack. Dwarven Waraxe: 1d20+6= 6+6 = 12 to hit Damage = 1d10+5 = 8+5 = 13 damage. Looking behind him, he yells at the others. You, the gnome, move opposite that weird lizard, then hold to attack until you have flanking. Lizard lady, send it after the other goblin. The other one, help me kill the chanter.Coinstone has no idea if any of you will listen to him, but he figures its worth a shot.

Both goblins attack Coinstone as he moves, and he takes a blow from the dogslicer, though the chanter misses him. He also misses her, however.
Doglicer Goblin: Attack: 1d20+3=20+3=23 Unconfirmed crit (1d20+3=14+3=17) Damage: 1d4+1=1+1=2
Chanter Goblin: Attack: 1d20-2=3-2=1 Definitely a miss

Will Save 1D20+2+2+1=4+2+2+1=9
Figit begins to feel odd, and quickly casts a guidance Orison to try to block the goblin's spell. It isn't enough to stop it, and she falls off her mount rather than dismounting like she had intended. She begins laughing for no reason, all the while feeling the influence of the goblin's spell.

bonzo, I'm sorry I didn't make it clear. Fijit can take no actions this round under the effects of the spell. She is prone, lying on the ground. You will be able to act as normal next round.

"Argh!" Sena yelled as the goblins sword cut her shield arm pretty deep. She raises her sword and attacks, not sure if the blow connected.

Both goblins are still up and appear to have taken no damage this round. The chanter has not taken any damage in the fight at all so far, though the other one is still hurt from Sena's first blow. The spell will wear off and Fijit will be able to act normally next round. It is a move action to stand up from prone though.

ROUND SEVEN
The warchanter steps back diagonally away from Coinstone and whips at him, hoping to trip him. She fails miserably, barely even getting the whip to crack on the ground by his feet
Trip: 1d20-2=9-2=7
The other goblin bares his teeth and lashes out at Sena. His swing goes wide and does not connect.
Attack: 1d20+3=5+3=8

Coinstone doesn't want her to get away, so risks another attack of opportunity from her by moving directly north of her before swinging. (total of 15 feet)
Waraxe: 1d20+6 = 10+6 = 16 Damage: 1d10+5 = 5+5 = 10
Coinstone laughs as blood pours from the cut. Ha! Let that be a lesson about the folly of attacking Dwarves!!!
If it hits, that is.
