can we move diagonally, or only orthogonally? You can move diagonally as well. Every second step counts as two, so instead of 5,10,15,20 you go 5, 15, 20, 30

END OF ROUND ONE Several people spring into action running off to fight other goblins are approaching the ones you see. Fijit manages to effectively entangle the middle one, so that he is unable to move, though he snarls and tugs at his legs. No one else seems to be injured or effected at the moment. Initiative Order: Goblins = 16 Coinstone = 13 Novalia = 10 mischief , don't forget to take your turn Fijit = 9+ Sena = 9-
No one has taken any injuries this round, and the only effect is the currently entangled goblin. Remember, you are responsible for tracking any effects that affect your character.

ROUND TWO The goblin beside the cart sees Coinstone moving towards him and runs out to meet him, swinging his dogslicer, though he catches nothing but air.
1d20+1=14+1=15
The middle goblin snarls as it attempts to free itself from the tanglefoot bag. After a slight struggle, the goblin is free. It turns and approaches Fijit, angry that she trapped it in such a way.
1d20+0=19+0=19
The goblin moves to right in front of Fijit, though cannot attack as it used its standard action to free itself
The third goblin begins to move through the square towards where Novalia stands, swinging at the legs of bystanders still trying to escape from the chaos.
The goblin moves 30 ft in a straight line away from the wagon. It stops 10 ft away from Novalia, having reached its maximum movement.

Coinstone sees the others moving to engage and his mind immediately goes into tactical thinking. He swings his axe at the goblin's squishy bits in order to deal with the immediate threat.
Attack: 1d20+5 = 20+5=25 (unconfirmed critical hit) Damage: 1d10+6 = 10+6=16
With that goblin down, he moves into flanking position with Fijit for the next round.

Sena sees others are helping to fight the goblins. She reaches into her spell pouch and pulls out her wooden statue of Sarenrae. Raising the statue to the sky she says in a loud, clear voice "Sarenrae, bless these others that fight this evil."
Move action: Take statue out of spell pouch. Standard action: Cast Blessed- Allies within 50ft get +1 morale bonus to attack rolls and saving throws against fear for 1 minute.

Novalia stands stunned as laughter turns to screams of terror. When she sees the goblin make its way to her she knows she will not be able to avoid this fight.
She pulls her out her star knife and walks the ten steps to the goblin. She raises the blade and moves to strike the beast.
Attack: 1d20+3=16+3=19 Damage: 1d4+0=2+0=2
Did I do that right? I added my Dex mod to my attack & damage. I have the weapons finesse feat.
Edit-I fixed it

Fijit draws her Gnome Hooked Hammer and attacks the goblin in front of her.
1d20 + 1 + 1 = 11 + 1 + 1 = 13
(Sorry I'm late with this! I've only been on mobile today and it's hard to keep track of gameplay on a small screen. I also can't figure out how to do the right color formatting on mobile.)

END OF ROUND TWO Coinstone decimates the goblin in front of him with one swing. It is obviously dead, and will not be getting up again. Fijit also quickly dispatches the goblin that charged at her. Novalia does a decent amount of damage, but the last goblin remains standing, if a little unsteady. Two of the goblins are down, leaving only one standing.
Initiative Order: Goblins = 16 Coinstone = 13 Novalia = 10 Fijit = 9+ Sena = 9-
All of you are still unscathed. I've removed the dead goblins from the map. bonzo , don't worry too much about the formatting. It's okay if it's not always used, it just makes it easier for me to keep track of everything. Also, you had flanking for your last attack, since Coinstone goes before you, which would give you an additional +2 to your attack. You hit regardless, but just so you know for the next time. ROUND THREE The remaining goblin takes a swipe at Novalia, before becoming distracted and running to the food cart behind her. Attack: 1d20+3=14+3=17 Damage: 1d4+1=2+1=3mischief, if he meets or beats your armor class, you take the damage, otherwise you can ignore that roll. You also get an attack of opportunity as he moves past you. Basically it means that once per round, if someone moves through more than one of the squares you threaten, you can take an attack on them outside of your normal turn.

That is the attack right? My AC is 15 so I would take 3 from my 10 HP?
Novalia flinches as the goblin strikes her, letting out a curse in her native Varisian tongue. She recovers quickly and uses his distraction with the food cart to lash out at him again.
Attack 1d20+3=18+3=21 Damage 1d4+0=1+0=1

Coinstone will look around for more goblins to squish, and not seeing any, looks again for a more detailed sweep of his surroundings.
"Form up, all fighters together. Get the civilians off the battlefield and out of our way." He shouts, trying to keep things organized.
Standard action is to use total defense until his next turn. (+4 to Armor Class, negatives to hit, and I can't take attacks of opportunity until my next turn).

Do we know how far away the hitching post where I tied up my dinosaur is? Now that the immediate threat is taken care of, Fijit would like to have Peetree with her in case of another attack.

A likely place is a couple blocks north at the closest inn, The White Deer. However, you didn't specify the exact location, so if you want to say it's just off the square, to the north, that would also work.

Sena walks over to Novalia. "Do you need help? I can patch you up, if you'd like."
Is it ok to say I'll use both of my movements to make it to mischief, but if she moves I'll edit it and change it to a move and a heal action if she wants me to?

Fijit quickly heads to where she left Peetree upon arrival in town. She knows that if more goblins attack, it will help to have her dinosaur companion with her in the fight. Good thing we stopped so close to the town square!
I'm guessing it will take 2 move actions to get to Peetree. Can I untie him as part of my second move? Or will that be part of next turn?

After the goblin lays dead at her feet Novalia puts her blade away. She takes five steps away from the foul creature towards the others who had also defended the square. She falters after several steps, her hand going to her wound, it's not life threatening but it is bleeding heavily.

END OF ROUND THREE All three goblins lie dead in the square. Sounds of battle still fill the air, though for a moment there is a reprieve. Sena moves to treat Novalia's wound while Fijit retrieves her companion and Coinstone prepares for future attack. Initiative Order: Goblins = 16 Coinstone = 13 Novalia = 10 Fijit = 9+ Sena = 9-
Sena can heal Novalia in this round, so go ahead and roll it and let mischief know, auri .

ROUND FOUR Suddenly, a fire starts to the southeast. The cart that was full of fuel for the evening bonfire is now ablaze. I'm uploading the map so you can see where this is happening (aka where the four new goblins are. However, you as characters are not yet aware of the goblins over there as they are hiding behind the burning cart. A DC 15 perception is required to see them through the smoke and flames. bonzo , Peetree is the brown one

Perception Check: 1d20+0 = 5 (That's right, a 5).
Seeing the cart go up in a blaze, Coinstone looks around the square to see who could have set the fire. Not seeing anyone, he moves cautiously towards it.
Move action= 20 feet towards the cart. Standard action= partial defense

athn64, I'm sorry to ask this...but what dice do I have to roll for the check? Do I roll a D20 to see if I succeed? And do I have to roll another dice to see how much damage I heal? Apologies...I feel silly for asking.

Apologies...I feel silly for asking. It depends on what you plan to do. If you are casting a cure spell, you simply roll to see how much health she gets back. If you want to roll a heal check, in this case you would be rolling to "Treat Deadly Wounds" Which is a DC15 check and she recovers 1 hp. If you succeed the check by 5 or more points, you add your Wis Mod to the number of points returned. This requires two uses of a healer's kit. You take a -2 penalty for each use that you lack.
