J was warm at bedtime last night, temp was just over 100 and he asked to skip reading books and go to bed so I gave him tylenol and he was out like a light. At 6:15 he came in screaming that his belly hurt. Hes a furnace... I stripped his pjs off and A got him tylenol again. Temp is 101.5. I asked where it hurt and he grabbed the lower right side. Which Gilmore girls tells me is appendicitis. So I'm watching him like a crazy person and debating calling his pedi.. who will tell me I'm crazy I'm sure. Dr. Google says hes young for it but it's not impossible. Hes snuggled up with me, hoping he can get some more rest.

peachsmama That pain generally radiates towards the bellybutton and it hurts more when pressure is released. So if you press on his side does it hurt him if you stop pressing? I doubt it is appendicitis and probably just a tummy ache. I hope he starts feeling better!

Morning.
M2 started puking at 4am. I heard it and quickly jumped up. After cleaning him and the bed, I laid back down, but didn’t sleep because I was waiting for it to happen again. Nothing yet. I really hope it’s a one off, but my gut tells me otherwise. Gotta get M to school so I guess I’ll load him up, cover him with a towel, and pray he doesn’t get sick in the car.

I doubt it is appendicitis and probably just a tummy ache. I hope he starts feeling better! After an hour of tossing he fell asleep and woke up an hour later fever free saying nothing hurts. So i just assumed the worst lol. We'll have to see if his fever returns when the tylenol wears off. But A is taking M to school and J and I are snuggling so he can rest. |

All of the school districts are closed today due to the weather. Therefore daycare is also closed. MH is trying to decide whether he can take the day off to stay with the kids or not.

Morning ladies and happy Friday!
I'm at the drs office with my boss, shes back having her ultrasound. I asked her if she was nervous and she said shes a mess because she hasn't been feeling well. She also shut her finger in a car door yesterday at lunch, which gave us something to laugh at during our drive.
Evie has her preschool spring program tonight. I'm sure we will go out to eat with the grandparents after.

Hope your boys feel better quickly peachsmama and lahdeedah . tgrimes something tells me your husband has a ton of leave and sick days saved up. He should absolutely take the time off. I started out my morning at work with a coworker being a total bitch to me. What a lovely way to start the day. It's things like this that make me fantasize throwing up the deuces and saying fuck you as I walk out the door. Luckily it's rare anything like this ever happens and this is definitely the rudest I've ever been treated, but WTF? |

Went to Cadence's school this morning for Muffins with Mom. It was sad. Basically it was just me in a room with her by ourselves because no one else seem to know about it. The occasional mom would come in with there kid and grab a muffin and leave. It was 2 plates of mini muffins, a bottle of orange juice and a bottle of lemonade. But you know what? Cadence thought it was amazing that I was there eating with her and that's all that matters. LOL
Now hopefully she behaves today.

mwhip Will she get the results today? She said they usually tell her something before she leaves, although I dont think the person doing the ultrasound can really tell her much. I reminded her when I had my mammogram done, I had results in 3 hours, so hopefully she knows something today. It would be awful to go the weekend not knowing. |

My school doesn't do mother's day parties but I am hoping J's class does a survey/questionnaire, they did one for Father's day last year. Maybe I'll print one out for mh to help j do bc I want one dammit.
We are hosting my sister's family this weekend bc my BIL is working up here for 2 weeks and want to see him. I didn't do any to prepare and I'm not exactly feeling it. My mom is coming over and we asked her if she could get herself to my house. She said she'd take the bus, leave at 7am and get to my place around noon. She lives 35 min away without traffic. Why she thought that was acceptable is beyond me. Pay for a f'ing Uber. One of us will pick her up. Im so tired, I want to do nothing and yet here we are.

No more puke as of yet and he seems to be acting normal. Hoping for an uneventful rest of the day. Also, the rain has made it to AL. Not sure that we will have baseball tonight because of it. It’s supposed to be his last game.

Morning! I’m at H’s school waiting for her program to start. DH told me the strap to her dress broke when he dropped her off so I told him to have her keep wearing her jean jacket.
I hope the sick kids feel better ASAP!

The ultrasound for my boss just confirmed that there is something there, so she has to have a biopsy. I gave her a big hug and we decided we needed to open some wine, which we didn't do yet. It could still be nothing, it just sucks that she has to wait to schedule the biopsy, then wait for that appt date, then wait for results, etc.
