I'm at work. MH won't be getting paid to stay home today, even though he has vacation days. Why you ask? Because his boss is an asshole. Since he already put in his notice he won't allow him to take vacation.
Not sure what his sick/vacation time will be like at the new place, but I'm sure he won't want to take off right away. So he's at home with the kids.

My company won't allow you to take vacation or sick days once you turn in your notice. But they pay you up to 2 week sick time & all of your vacation you have accrued once they process your last paycheck. Bob does a lot of things that are illegal though so he doesn't give a fuck...whatever saves him the most money. |

Fever is back. 102. I offered everything under the sun for lunch and all he wanted was some orange juice but at least hes drinking. He doesn't want the TV on or his tablet. Hes just laying on the couch. Its breaking my heart.

A finally figured out how to pull himself up into standing (yay!), but now he's pulling himself up on all the hard things and falling into them. Forgot babies do that kind of thing.

I leave for San Antonio Monday and I still don't have my travel approved through work.  This happened the last time I needed to go somewhere. It took until 12 hours before my flight to get the initial authorization and I was still facing possibly arriving to the airport and not having a ticket because it was so screwed up. |

peachsmama, I hope he can nap so his body can rest and recuperate. I also hope no one else gets it for the weekend! He conked out on the couch. I've threatened the dogs with eviction if they bark. We haven't had an illness in so long and I'm so hormonal I'm just hanging out on the verge of tears.. hormones are the only explanation lol. |

inthekitty Did the swelling go down in your foot? How many times did you soak it yesterday? I soaked it 3 times and it did go down. I have more mobility today so I think it was worth the misery. Thanks doc!  |

I was sooooo hung over. I had to pack up my apartment and would fold one shirt, lay down, fold one more. My roommates parents came and I couldn't stop puking in the bathroom. My parents had to pull over so I could puke on the way. Makes me so queasy thinking about that day. |

wineallthetime I literally laughed out loud! Even my night wasn't that bad! I don't think I ever got sick from tequila, I just couldn't move. Rum...took me forever before I could drink that. My honeymoon with my ex, I had way too many rum and diets one night and threw up in the bathtub and just went to bed. My exH was getting up super early to go diving and woke me up and told me to clean my mess up, which I did, then went back to bed. He came back from his dive and felt great, so he wanted to go do things...I did not. I made him sit in the shade by the pool all afternoon. We all have to learn our lessons.
