M woke me up around 2:30 because the lightning and thunder was crazy. Then H woke up at 6 because he ate too many decried beans at dinner last night. 🙄
M has a birthday party at the bowling alley this afternoon and then we’re going to the in laws for swimming and dinner. My MIL is still gone and I think my FIL is lonely. He won’t admit it though.

We didn't get home from dinner with bil and his fiance until 11pm. M slept until 8:30, but he didn't nap yesterday. J slept until 9. I'm so grateful, I needed it. I feel bad for A though. He had to work today so he was up by 4:30..

Idk what we're doing today. We need to renew our zoo membership so my mom mentioned going but idk how much walking I can take. I have a few more boxes I'd like to purge in the basement but need A to carry them up.
I need to find J a bike. M won one last fall and has been dying to get it out and ride but I feel bad j doesnt have one.

I fell in love with the patio furniture in Denver and I think today I'm going to go check out some sets and fire pits. Mostly I loved snuggling under the big soft blanket. I'm on the lookout for a grill too. Then I'll have my backyard oasis

Morning! We are renting a huge sod cutter machine so that I can remove the grass from the area that will become my new flower bed. Dh is acting like he’s not going to help but I know better. Tonight is a surprise 30th birthday party for my friend.

Sitting at gymnastics. Tons of empty chairs and some dude sits directly behind me.
We are headed to the park right after this for a birthday party.
Mh is sleeping in. He got home after midnight even though he told me he would leave his friend's house at 10. 🙄

Good morning. We had hockey, t-ball, and gymnastics last night. Today is hockey practice, then hockey game for the other team and soccer. Later we are either heading to the new house or buying a washing machine.
Still nothing from work.

Morning! I stopped at the garage to help a bit this morning but it was much quieter than yesterday. Now I’m home and the kids are blowing bubbles in the driveway and dh is gone golfing all day. I might get together with the other golfers wives at some point to let the kids play since it’s finally a beautiful day.

I started the thread today, but never said hi, so hi! Quiet day today, picked up a present for a coworker who announced she is pregnant last week, make pics for ds’ passport (his second 😳) & got a whole bunch of yummy groceries for tonight’s dinner. It is Memorial Day today in Holland, we remember all of those who parishes during WWII & other wars. There are lots of moving stories today in all the papers and on the news. It still baffles me how something like this could have ever happened.

I had girls night last night and got home after ten and passed out. I slept good but we had to get up early for baseball and I’m dragging. I announced my nap plans and Dh says “me too”. Which annoys me because that means C is hanging alone. But I really need to sleep. Let me have this one thing Dh!
After baseball we went to Target, the mall, and are now at BBW for lunch. When we get home C needs a bath since Dh didn’t do it last night like I asked. I’m so irritated with him but need to calm before I discuss.
Work sucked yesterday. It’s rare that I am pissed at work but there were a few things yesterday and on top of no sleep and a bad mood, I was ready to walk out. I’m glad we had girls night so I stuck it out.

I was really energized by sparring last night. It's an all-ages class so it was one heck of a workout since they work the kids harder in terms of cardio and for some of the drills the adults had a shorter line so we went through more iterations. I was hoping to keep up that energy today and go to the gym this afternoon at work but unfortunately my schedule is just spread out enough I don't think that will happen.  |
