Morning. Today is liberation day. Our city hosts a ginormous free music festival (400.00 people visit trough out the day). We took the kids in the early afternoon, at that point the crowds are still manageable. According to them they didn’t had fun, but they danced and giggled their tiny asses of, so mama begs to differ. Dh is going back with friends tonight, I’ll have a much needed solo night.

Hi!
Slow morning here. M has his chocolate coins and MH is making breakfast while I have my coffee. Not sure what’s on the agenda today. I need to meal plan for the week. Oh and our washer kept giving an error last night and apparently it’s unable to drain after the wash cycle, so we have to figure that out. Fun. 😒

I think I'm going to get stuff for margaritas for tonight. I rarely drink but we're having people over for GoT. If we do I'll make the kids virgin ones. kim22 hell yes! Kids can put on raingear, and get that rain cover on the stroller. It'll be fun. I hope T has a blast at the movie. I found out someone in our social circle was kind of mortified we took the girls to see Avengers. They kind of shelter their kids. TETO *shrugs* peachsmama, sounds like an episode of Jerry Springer.  |

I’m purging. I put a whole bunch of stuff on the Dutch version of Craigslist. Fingers crossed it’ll sell. This is just a start, there is sooooo much more. I’m a very very sentimental person. So getting rid of the car seat we did our us road trip in with ds is a ‘thing’ for me 🤦🏼♀️, not because of its value, but because of the memories.

nam2013 I understand. The last time I saw my MIL alive, we went and bought T’s convertible car seat. It’s expired now and sitting in my garage, ready for the trash but I keep “forgetting” to put it out on garbage night.

I did a full cleaning of the kitchen and now I'm spent for the day. Mh said he is at lunch doing a slow drive back to the office looking for flood issues. He offered for me to go out tonight so I can get into a better mood.

I’m getting pedicures with my mom. Lord save me! She’s such a huge complainer but it’s my monthly obligation. We are grabbing lunch after too. Dh and C are doing a tough mudder in the rain. 17 obstacles over 2 miles ending in a mud pit. If it wasn’t raining I’d be there to take pics but alas, I’m here with my mom.

Sierra woke up with no fever today so I sent her to the babysitter. I haven’t heard anything so I assume she’s doing fine.
I just found out this morning that the babysitter is taking a vacation Friday- Tuesday next week. So I’m scrambling trying to find a babysitter to fill in.

I took Cadence out for pancakes. The first place had an hour wait and Cadence shit that down real quick. So we ended up at IHOP. Cadence picked a cupcake pancake and after the first bite claimed she hated it. She ate bacon and grapes.
Then we went to B&N, but she only wanted to look at the toys, so we left and went to Target.
We're back home relaxing before Cadence's recital this evening.

I just got out of Zumba, my effort was for certain 100% but my skill level was laughable at AT BEST 4/10. Challenge accepted...see you next week Zumba.  |

My parents are gone. I survived the visit. They collectively drank three 18-packs of beer from Thursday at 3:30pm until Saturday when they went to bed. Disgusting. My father also garaged.
I feel like i drank a lot while they were here but it was nothing compared to them.
MH and I are celebrating our 6-year wedding anniversary tonight (2 days late) with sushi and GoT.

Snoop, my stomach hurts thinking about drinking all that beer. That being said, we had an all day bday party for L starting at 11am and guests left like 7ish. I bought a 15 pack of bud lite because that's my dad's drink of choice. I looked the next morning and 1 was left. I don't think I saw anyone else drinking it?

Just did a target drive up order and also picked up food. I’m not 💯 yet but at least I can smell food and eat it without getting sick.
