I really feel like people need to stop thinking about home birth from an American side. It’s very supported in many countries with midwives that have crash kits, plasma, coagulants, hospital transfer at the ready. It’s not some lady with a birch branch and a bunch of oils that shows up. I mean the maternal mortality rate in the US is consistently higher than many westernized countries where home births are supported Look I didn't grow up in the US but I live here now, so I have a pretty solid understanding of other ways of doing things. But it doesn't change the traumatic experience I had, and how that colors the way I look at it. Your post reads as pretty belittling. Maybe that's not how you meant it, but that's how it's coming off. And telling everyone that they must be in hospital to give birth is coming off a way. How about let people choose whatever medical supported birth they like |

Has anyone from Harry's family met the baby?
I understand not telling everyone until after the birth and waiting a little bit, but I would think Harry would want to show off his kid to his family also.

The Queen is there today for her event so my guess is she will go and see him. Sounds like Will and Kate will not seem him for a few days. |

I’m guessing The Sussex’s wanted some space to breathe too.
All the royals have big engagements the next few days. I don’t think it’s a slight at all. Charles didn’t meet the Cambridge kids immediately either.
Harry was out of town for at least one or two of them as well. This is pretty normal.
We saw pics of all three Cambridge kids before Charles, Harry, and the Queen met them.

On the arrival of Baby Sussex, Kate said: "It's such a special time, obviously with Louis and Charlotte just having their birthdays, it's such a great time of year to have a baby. As William said, we look forward to meeting him and finding out what his name is going to be."

I don’t find it odd at all that the family hasn’t met him and really think it’s a stretch to say it’s because of a feud. The baby is like 30 hours old, not weeks or even days old. Let the family have some time alone.
Also, it’s not like William and Kate sit around and watch eastenders all day. They have three kids and royal obligations.
