We went to look at a new playset for evie. The one we have was given to us for free and is probably 30 years old. It leans pretty bad. So we decided we would see how much a new one was going to cost, since she uses it so much. The place we went only had 2 sets on hand, they have new coming but didn't know when. The sales guy offered us the floor model...originally $3000, he sold it for $1100. I think we are more excited than the kid. She was disappointed we wouldn't buy her a trampoline. Please tell me they will deliver and set up. I e heard horror stories from friends about setting them up. So when we bought S’s playset we made sure to get it with delivery and set up. We don’t work well together on stuff like that and it would surely not end well. Lol. We are definitely paying for delivery and set up! You can find them on fb marketplace for good prices around here, but we refuse to try to assemble it ourselves. |

We finally got around to the egg hunt and baskets, and as the kids were gathering the toys they wanted to play with, the bear walked right past the window in the livingroom, crossed the stream to our neighbors’ house and is now just sitting there chewing on a stick their backyard.

I couldn’t get to my phone fast enough when he was in our yard, and the neighbors house is too far away to get a picture. I texted her because I was so excited but they’re away for the weekend, so the best I have is just a big blob of him sitting there. This is super zoomed in:  He’s on the move now so I’m secretly hoping he comes back this way. |

Today is starting out poor. C loved his Easter basket but is being oppositional about cleaning up the mess he made in the living room and took a marble from me for “bullying” him. He is pouting now and I am ignoring him so I don’t engage in this nonsense. We won’t do his egg hunt until he cleans up.
Off to BILs house this afternoon. Crappy food but the kids will have a blast.

I’m fascinated by bears. And we have quite a few in MO but you don’t see them a whole lot. In the 16 years we have lived here I’ve only seen 1 Bear and it crossed the road in front of me on my way to work about 6 years ago.

H is sick again. Big shocker there. He’s been coughing through his naps and all night long. We got up at 6 and watched Moana until everyone else got up. He’s a snotty disgusting mess.

I’m such a pw this morning, but in an update from last week’s movie talk, Josie chose and calmly sit through an entire Disney Channel movie. Freaky Friday! It was adorable. She said she likes movies with real people in it. She could totally be snowing me, but I’m willing to try that moving forward and see how it goes. We've been watching the movies with the Buddies dogs. There is a space, Christmas, and adventure one. And then of course there are the real life Disney movies |

I’m jealous of your bears guster. Obviously forgetting the danger aspect. Years ago there was a bear that went to Cape Cod. There are no bears there so he either swam over or walked the bridge. He stayed for a few days and then went back to the other side. He probably heard it was a good vacation spot and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. |
