The storm was so bad last night it flung our walkout doors open in the basement. Which made the basement door in the house fly open. A and I were watching TV and I about peed myself. I ordered a security bar 2 minutes later..
I need to finish up the cupcakes but I'm relaxing now because my kids have only been awake for an hour and I'm exhausted.

Yikes peachsmama! That would freak me out too! S slept in till 7 this morning! My sister and her family and my cousin (the photographer) and her family are coming over for an early Easter lunch and Easter egg hunt. I’m sure my cousin will have her camera and try to get a group cousin pic...which never goes well 😂. Too many littles scattering like ants. Then this evening my cousin had a cancellation for her spring mini session so she asked if I wanted to slide S into that spot. Only problem is I didn’t bring her the right attire for spring pics. So I may run out to the store in a bit and buy something new. |

That’s scary, @peach! The same thing happens if we forget the foot lock on the French doors in the family room. They fly open and cause the inside garage door to pop open. Scared us so much the first time it happened!

I had an n13 dream last night. wedding and the hot guy from her job (played by Dermot Mulroney in my dream) showed up for Easter brunch at my house with this Irish setter named Rusty. The dog was sweet but kept trying to get involved in the Easter egg hunt happening inside the house. |

I'm not going down there!" He eventually went down lol. |

Morning.
We are supposed to be doing an Easter egg hunt today, but we just woke up and the event starts in 15 min. It is low 50s outside (yep, that’s cold to me) so I kind of want to skip it. M would remember at some point and be upset, so I don’t know. I may just send him and MH.

Dh is still asleep at 11am. I actually slept until 9 and am still exhausted so I may lie down when he gets up. C and I went to Target this morning because he’s been saving up for a certain Pokémon set. It was insane there. I would avoid target at all costs today.
Later we are going to my parents so C can play with his cousins who are visiting. Then we will all go out for Mexican tonight. A decent day. I just need to wake up.

Hi! T-ball and soccer were both cancelled since it's pouring out, so I took the boys to the trampoline park so DH could get some work done. I jumped with them so now I'm exhausted, haha. I have a long way and 5-10 pounds to lose to get back in shape, but hopefully I'll start making some progress now that I can run a bit.
DH is still working and he needs to get to the gym and to the grocery store today, so I need to pull it together. The way the boys are acting, it could be a long day!

M and I are at the movies to see dumbo. It’s ridiculously loud in here for the previews and she’s covering her ears. Hopefully the movie isn’t this loud.
MH is in a mood and has been for several days now. He’s already told me he’s going out tonight to watch the rockets game somewhere. He better Uber.

Guess who went and picked up their ginormous tv, brought it home, unpacked it and found that it was busted all the way across. Yep. Mh. Now he has to wait a whole week for a new one. 🙄

We went to look at a new playset for evie. The one we have was given to us for free and is probably 30 years old. It leans pretty bad.
So we decided we would see how much a new one was going to cost, since she uses it so much. The place we went only had 2 sets on hand, they have new coming but didn't know when. The sales guy offered us the floor model...originally $3000, he sold it for $1100. I think we are more excited than the kid. She was disappointed we wouldn't buy her a trampoline.

We had an early Easter celebration with lots of food, lots of playing, lots of eggs, and lots of sugar. I’m exhausted but my mom talked me into going to see a movie that starts at 10:10 tonight 😳. Hopefully I can stay awake through it. I usually go to bed at 9-9:30. Lol.

As shes gotten older, it's great for her to go play by herself while I cook dinner. It took awhile for her to go by herself, but now it's the best, so it is worth the money for my sanity! Poor S lfig! Hope she sleeps good tonight! H went to help his step sister with her car since it was having issues. I put evie to bed and filled the Easter eggs and her basket. |

So I had said that A's grandma was making the cake for the party we went to. She guilted his cousin into letting her do it then called her Monday and said she wasnt and ordered a cake instead. Which, whatever. That was cousins original plan anyways. But Then calls her first thing this morning to remind her to go get the cake and oh by the way, she didnt pay for it. And forgot to tell them his age or name to put on the cake.. so it was just a blank cake. But my cupcakes turned out super cute and were so yummy! Stegosaurus theme.  |

Hi guys, long day here. Went to a Easter Bunny brunch at Nordstrom cafe this morning..and we were the only people there! I guess they forgot to coordinate with the kids department. It was a but awkward, but fun. Then guys golfed and we walked downtown, cousins played outside and got home late. Now prepping to host family arriving at 10am, but losing steam. I need to stuff more eggs, but really over it.

We had preschool prom tonight which meant the kids ran around in fancy clothes. But it was cute.
I filled lots of eggs. I've hidden some in the house that we will do at the crack of dawn when E wakes up. The rest we'll put outside at a more reasonable time. For once I didn't go overboard with little things for the basket. I got SD a dustbuster to "fight the dust bunnies". We had planned on getting her one for her dorm so I thought this was a fun way to give a teen a basket and give it to her.

I just realized I was posting on Friday. Oh well, too lazy to move them over. I have filled all the baskets but mine. C is going to have to do it because I don’t know where he hid my candy. I also decorated for Easter this morning. I was a little behind. I only have a wreath, a bunny and a garland so took me 5 minutes.
Hope everyone’s kiddos get a filled and wonderful basket tomorrow.
