I just realized I was posting on Friday. Oh well, too lazy to move them over. I have filled all the baskets but mine. C is going to have to do it because I don’t know where he hid my candy. I also decorated for Easter this morning. I was a little behind. I only have a wreath, a bunny and a garland so took me 5 minutes. Hope everyone’s kiddos get a filled and wonderful basket tomorrow. Do you do baskets for everyone in your fam? We only do them for the kids. |

Hey, busy day here. My sister and her kids got in about 10 last night. We played hard and did stuff all day. My other sister brought her kids over in the morning to play too. It got up to 84 today, which was amazing. After all the kids were in bed I filled the baskets and started cleaning. I have a huge pile of stuff the girls have brought home from school...which I am just going to move into my bedroom and deal with later. I don’t feel like sorting through it right now, I need to do a better job of sorting after it comes home.

I'm laughing at drunk nam2013. Hey ladies. My mom knew one of her friends in Denver was at some sort of pot rally this weekend. Then she saw in the paper about another rally nearby. I replied--well, it is 4/20. She didn't get it. "420--pot smoking time?" Still didn't get it. I told her that was more her generation than mine or maybe they just smoked all day. She replied, "Well I never really got it because it just made me sleepy and want to eat." 🤦‍♀️ She's an innocent soul. |

Had a fun day. The best part about it was a 2 hr nap. I'm always so sleep deprived after working on the weekend.
Preparing myself for my brother to be a dick tomorrow. I guess he still is being an ass about the Disney trip. I'm very much in the boat of he can fuck right off after getting a free vacation. The closer I get to my 40s the fewer fucks I have to give. It's very freeing.

We went to look at a new playset for evie. The one we have was given to us for free and is probably 30 years old. It leans pretty bad. So we decided we would see how much a new one was going to cost, since she uses it so much. The place we went only had 2 sets on hand, they have new coming but didn't know when. The sales guy offered us the floor model...originally $3000, he sold it for $1100. I think we are more excited than the kid. She was disappointed we wouldn't buy her a trampoline. Please tell me they will deliver and set up. I e heard horror stories from friends about setting them up. So when we bought S’s playset we made sure to get it with delivery and set up. We don’t work well together on stuff like that and it would surely not end well. Lol. |

Just got home from the movie. My dad was still up, which I’m disappointed about. I was hoping he was asleep so when S wakes up in 5 - 6 hours I could pass her off to him and go back to bed. But looks like I will have to be on mom duty. Oh well, maybe I’ll get lucky and she will sleep in after such a busy chaotic day playing with cousins.

We had preschool prom tonight which meant the kids ran around in fancy clothes. But it was cute. That sounds adorable!! |

Happy Easter to all of you that celebrate! Charlie is up and watching Tumble Leaf’s Easter special; I’m making a quiche, and mh and Josie are still snoozing!
When they get up, we’ll do a little mini egg hunt, open baskets, and get ready to go!

I’m such a pw this morning, but in an update from last week’s movie talk, Josie chose and calmly sit through an entire Disney Channel movie. Freaky Friday! It was adorable. She said she likes movies with real people in it. She could totally be snowing me, but I’m willing to try that moving forward and see how it goes.

There are Easter eggs around this house this morning for the kids to find, B is running around like a maniac awake and ready and J is still sleeping, opposite children :/
We’re just having my Mom over later for dinner and i think she’s taking B home for the night since we’re all off tomorrow as well.
