My parents did an easter egg hunt for the first time for us when I was 7. My brother got up early and found them all. I woke up and sobbed. My dad made him give me all of the eggs We usually do one outside for C with a mix of candy, trinkets, and money. It's likely going to rain this year so it will probably be inside. Then he hides them all again and makes us find them. This goes on for half the day. He told me the other night that the Easter Bunny isn't real and its just a guy in a bunny suit and someone else puts together the baskets.

C had diarrhea yesterday and pooped at school and didn't wipe well. On the car ride home he told me that two kids were telling him he pooped his pants and it smelled I didn't smell anything until I bent down when we got home. It wasn't horrible but I feel bad others noticed. He has extras at school that we haven't had to use in well over a year but I guess he forgot. He had three more bouts at home and it was pretty rough so I gave him immodium last night. When he went this morning it was still loose but better so I gave him another dose. Hopefully that takes care of it. He has never had the runs before (at least since being a baby) so this is uncharted waters for me. I think it all stems from him drinking from an old milkshake in the car on Monday. It was so gross and he didn't have much. DH really needs to get his trash out of my car when he takes it.
Still no word on if we have baseball practice tonight. Right now there's a 50% chance of rain. I am hoping there is practice because DH is taking him and I can veg for a bit.

wedding B is in the opposite boat. He had diarrhea 2 times overnight last Thursday night, but was fine after that. He hasn't pooped with me since then. DC thinks he pooped Monday but I have no record of it so I'm not sure. He normally poops every day. They texted me a little while ago saying he wasn't feeling well and fell asleep during their spring party this morning. I told them to try to give him juice (he never has juice so I'd hope it does the trick). But this is unchartered territory for me.

I'm caught up at work (a miracle--I know) so I'm contemplating ditching out for a long lunch to get a massage. I usually don't even take a lunch break so I don't feel any guilt about this. do it!

Oh and MH told me last night that instead of coming home Saturday night for 5 days, he is only home till Monday morning. And that trip went from 3 days to 8 days.
So my kids will spend a total of 2 days with their dad from February 10 - April 29. I am deep in a pitty party for myself right now.

We don't really have good hiding places for stuff, so I worry I would get things ready, then she would find everything and we would be busted. I almost asked if she would leave her pillow for the tooth fairy on the kitchen table last night, instead of on her headboard!

So I think he gained some confidence in his ability (although he shouldn't) but it was a messy one he couldn't handle.

Evie has one that shows all the teeth with lines for the date lost, with a pocket on the back. It's small, so I've convinced her it can't be in her bed or it will get lost. This is the one we have: www.amazon.com/Primitives-Kathy-19269-Another-Accent/dp/B0075OXTDO/ref=sr_1_55?keywords=tooth+fairy+pillows&qid=1555603871&s=gateway&sr=8-55

Hello ladies my old friends. It's time to talk to you again. Eggs that are from the Easter Bunny are hidden around the living room at night after the kids go to bed for them to find in the morning. Usually only about 2 dozen. Eggs for the big hunt with cousins are hidden outside during the day. After we eat the kids go play together in one of the back bedrooms. The shades are drawn and the adults all go out together and hide the eggs all around the backyard. This is exactly how we do it. I have nothing ready yet, so I plan to run to CostPlus at lunch and get stuff for the kids.

Infusion day for me. Good thing, because I feel myself going downhill and have for the last week. Previously, I could only tell if somehow our date got pushed back a bit, but now I start to notice a pretty significant decline several days beforehand. All the more indication they’re working, though.
We got X’s report from the neurodevelopmental pedi last night and I’m feeling reassured. He instructed the school district to provide him with a 1:1 aide and said that they need to implement a mandatory “bully watch” where he will never be out of sight of educators so he is not subjected to any harassment at any time in any educational setting.

peachsmama, I made a small tooth pocket out of felt. The tooth fairy leaves it outside her fairy door when it's getting close to the tooth falling out. It's certainly easier to grab than a tooth. Then I just slip the money under and I'm out. Cadence is a really heavy sleeper though...

I'm sorry jewels. Your pity party is sadly well earned. cagoldi - I'm pleasantly surprised that they're already thinking about the potential for bullying. Handling that is just as important as the rest.

It broke my heart a little to realize it was such a big consideration, but I guess it becomes increasingly likely as he gets older and delays will be more apparent. It wasn’t something I had thought about at all, but I’m glad they’re taking preventative measures. It was a little surprising to me to see the aide, but they are considering him multiply disabled because of the dyspraxia and categorized him as Level 3 ASD which requires “very substantial support.”
