Hi. I’m solo at the office, itching to leave. Dh and I got in a fight at lunch. It was dumb and I over reacted and looked like a crazy hormonal pregnant lady. We’re both over it now, but i just hate that feeling.
I’m going to go home and take the dog on a a nice walk before Dh gets home with the kids. Then it’s the last night of gymnastics.

Study abroad orientation meeting:
“There’s quiet time from 3-5:30 every day so the locals can nap.” Awesome!

S BFFs sister is having surgery in a few weeks and will not be able to run around so much. She is 3.5 (4 over the summer) and is a bright little girl who loves art and LOLs. But mostly loves running outside with her brother. I am trying to think of a gift to give them for when she is cooped up (2 week recovery). She will (hopefully) be feeling ok, but will have lots of stitches on her face so her mother will have to work hard to keep her from being too active and possible hurting herself. Any ideas? How sweet of you. My kids are super into kinetic sand right now. I love it because it's way easier to clean up than play doh. |

I find the attitude the couple days after an illness is the worst. I don’t know if it’s because I coddle when sick or it just is what it is but I dread that time. |

I picked C up and he was sweaty and sandy from playing outside. Dh is giving him a bath because he ate all of my leftovers while I was at work today and he feels guilty. As he should. It was going to be my lunch tomorrow. I’ll take the bath help though.

When I got home today my cat that looked either pregnant or fat was walking in the driveway and no longer looked pregnant or fat. So I stalked her for a while till I found this...  |

So there are 3 houses that are 2 houses over that have a ton of kids. No one has fences so they just run around as a gaggle from yard to yard. I have decided E is old enough to go over and play without me watching. It usually ends up with me sitting in someone's driveway but when they are in the back I can watch from my yard. I have gotten all the adults names and I really need to get some numbers for when he needs to come home. Maybe I'll buy a big bell or something

wedding - Thanks for thinking of me. I was not sad to be heading to the gym in the storm this morning rather than the staging area. Then I was actually too busy to think too much about the marathon once I got to work, so I was fine. Still weird to think about what I SHOULD have been doing, but that ship sailed 82 days ago. Not that I've been counting... Haha.

I thought a package was stolen from my front porch on Saturday but the storm blew it around the garage, to the back of the house, and into the neighbor's back yard. I think it hit a tree otherwise it would be a mile away before something stopped it.

It was supposed to be a strawberry tres leches and it was too dry, had barely any strawberries, and unsweetened whipped cream. It was very disappointing. |
