Yes, I was looking at some play doh sets too guster. And I was just lurking on the thread about smart kids being jerks on GD and someone suggested some board games that looked like she might like. So, I have some good ideas. I might pick something out then have S pick something out for her. These kids are almost like family to my boys. |

I would push for more diagnostics. I pee a lot and when I am good with my water intake, it can be every 10 mins at times. My issue is actually a small bladder. So maybe that is her as well?
Also C had a bathroom emergency at CVS a couple of weeks ago and we had to go in back to use the employees bathroom. The employee who brought us back had to stay back to escort us out. C dropped a major deuce that smelled wretched and I was afraid it would clog the toilet. It didn't but the look on the employees face when I opened the door and the smell wafted out was...something. I hustled out of there red faced and quick!
Lol, silver lining I guess...at least hers is just always pee. How did you find out you had a small bladder? Ultrasound with a full bladder when I was a teen. They were actually looking at something else and the comment was made. |

I got to work really early since DH is off today (Boston holiday). I wanted to get in because I have a lot to do and the Chief sent an email when I was off on Friday about all this stuff we need for our upcoming audit. I have zero answers to his questions so I wanted to talk it out with our budget person and him. This plan failed miserably because they are both off until Wednesday and I couldn't sign in to my computer until an hour after I got here. Then DH called and the whole town was out of power. Luckily C's school opened at 9:30 when power came back there. The power at home just came back on.
Anyway, its only noon and I am so tired. I will stick it out all day though because I am trying to use some flex time instead of leave for Denver next week. NEXT WEEEK!!!

S BFFs sister is having surgery in a few weeks and will not be able to run around so much. She is 3.5 (4 over the summer) and is a bright little girl who loves art and LOLs. But mostly loves running outside with her brother. I am trying to think of a gift to give them for when she is cooped up (2 week recovery). She will (hopefully) be feeling ok, but will have lots of stitches on her face so her mother will have to work hard to keep her from being too active and possible hurting herself. Any ideas? Not sure how doable this is, but can you ask to have the bff over for a play date? It may help her to not be active if the older sibling isn’t around all day. She may appreciate the help and the boys will love the extra play time, too. Just a thought. ETA: just saw you already offered this! |

Those are the best playdates jewels, we've had the neighbours kids over a few times and honestly I dont even see them, they entertain themselves for hours, and that's in winter, summer would even be better since I just open the back door and everyone comes and go as they please. Who would have ever thought that having 4 kids in the house would be 'easy'?..hahah |

Those are the best playdates jewels, we've had the neighbours kids over a few times and honestly I dont even see them, they entertain themselves for hours, and that's in winter, summer would even be better since I just open the back door and everyone comes and go as they please. Who would have ever thought that having 4 kids in the house would be 'easy'?..hahah That’s how I feel about Dude’s friends visiting or supervising them at the park. |

mwhip are you traveling through stl? I could offer a nice pit stop. I'd also recommend foam sticker kits like at Michael's (if she can peel the back off). Bring a ball or jump rope for stops so you can get the wiggles out. Try to stop at a park or CFA. Bring melatonin so you both sleep that night. I'd ask for a referral to a urologist for her potty issues.

A tree fell on the power line two streets away from us last night. We lost power 3 times in the middle of the night, and now it’s off again so they can fix it. They estimate an hour. I hope they can stay on schedule!l

Hey. H had school this morning and the realtor came over to see our house. She said that in order for a room to count as square footage, it just has to have the flooring done. She’s going to talk to her broker and give me some numbers. The number I am hoping for sounds realistic so that’s awesome. S is napping right now and H is having quiet time. After S gets up we will spend time outside. I love having the windows open for fresh air.
So sad about the Notre Dam. I hope they can salvage as much as possible.
