lfig wtf. Don’t loan him a car. If he feel you didn’t deserve to be at his wedding then he doesn’t deserve your car. I will say one of my best friends from HS, her mom did this when she remarried. Her mom tried to convince me it was the right thing todo since they couldn’t find a date that both her kids and all his kids could make it. I thought that was also messed up. I called her out on that. She didn’t expect it from me.

Because of soccer game timing, the boys didn't nap today. I had them fed, bathed and in bed asleep by 7:30. Then I relaxed for an hour before cleaning the house and starting laundry. I love this post so much because I feel like you’ve been waiting for an evening like this for so so long. |

Also, did I tell y’all my FIL got married a week ago 🙄. He told us by text, then didn’t invite us. Then had his neighbors (that he’s known only for a year) stand up for them. But 2 days later called us and told us he needed to borrow one of our vehicles for an unknown amount of time while his gets repaired. So we have been juggling our life to accommodate him, even though we weren’t worth a wedding invite. Humph, you guys have multiple cars, right? What a pain and how rude. Also not sure what to think about this wedding situation, I'm sorry t though. Yes we actually have 3 cars. I have a Jeep Wrangler, MH has a truck, and then he also had an old crappy Jeep Cherokee that he uses for hunting and driving through the woods so he doesn’t tear his good truck up. My Jeep has issues and is getting work done this week while in STL (ball joints, alignment, and tires....bye monies). And FIL had dr appointments that were a 2 hour drive one way. The old hunting Jeep isn’t really cut out for a trip like that. Lol. So he got our best vehicle, MHs truck. But we had to have it back to go to GA this weekend so now that FIL’s dr appts are done he came and traded it for the hunting Jeep. We are just annoyed more at his approach to it...rather than asking if he could borrow one for a few days, he pretty much demanded a vehicle. Then we had to play connect the dots to make it all work since we have so much going on right now. |

slenle how did N do with the ballet performances? Do you think her 'stage fright' phase has passed? DH booked our flights to Maine this summer, 3+ months out but I'm already excited. We told B we were going to drive and he started crying...I think the kid has legit PTSD from the last few car trips, lol. Needless to say, he was thrilled when we revealed we'd actually be flying. We had a fun night at our friends'...the kids played SO well and the weather was great so we sat out on their screen porch having apps and pomegranate margaritas while the guys grilled the steaks. My key lime pie was a hit. I think I had one too many margaritas, I'm going to be feeling it tomorrow  Probably should go get some preemptive water and aspirin! Can I get your key lime pie recipe??? |

Here you go. Sadly, I haven't been able to find key Limes up here so I use bottled lime juice, and regular Persian limes for the zest/garnish. Can I get your key lime pie recipe??? Here you go. Sadly, I haven't been able to find key Limes up here so I use bottled lime juice, and regular Persian limes for the zest/garnish.
