Thought Target was doing the car seat trade in program started this week. Nope, April 22nd. We have to get 4 seats. 2 seats for LO and 2 for E. Can E use LO’s old seats? That would save you quite a bit for now. |

We've been outside all day. I'm wiped. Our list tomorrow is just as long too.
Also need to get the indoor area for my bunny's set up. And apparently I dont have 2 females like I thought.... one of them is nesting and I found a baby bunny in their pen. It did not make it.

And 1 is starting to fall apart from use (it’s the one we use on planes) Edit: plus I have gift cards to use that were given to us for the car seats specifically |

DD had her first soccer game of the season the same time DS had hockey. DH coaches soccer so I got to go to hockey. They lost 2-10 but they had a full on 5 on 5 fight and it was DS’s first hockey fight. I thought he’d be sad about the loss but he came out of the locker room so freaking excited about the fight.
We are at the new house. I have everything crossed that C will sleep. He’s been quiet for 5 minutes. DH is assembling the furniture for my rooftop deck. I have been on the hunt for outdoor carpet and some throw pillows. I want a bright, fun space up there. I also need a table and chairs for the 3rd floor deck. Hopefully tomorrow we will get the bunk beds for DD’s room before we head back.

I asked Alex to teach me how to use the staple gun so I could put the fencing in for my bunnies. Then I'm like "well since you're here, help me stretch this out so I can see how big I should go" then we just started stapling so my bunnies can move in tomorrow 😁

I make a grocery list
I go to the store
I buy all the food
I put everything away
I then realize I’m missing stuff so,
I START A NEW DAMN LIST....minutes after getting home from shopping.
Almost every weekend. Honestly, it’s enough to drive me ‘round the bend some days.

Home Goods had lots of pillows but no rugs. I couldn’t decide what size rug would work best. I had measured rooftop to be 10 by 11.5, not counting the little part where you come out the door. Rugs were 5 by 7 or 10 by 10 at Target. I think 10 by 10 is too big. Other deck is 8 by 20. The furniture is done now so I will post pictures with it tomorrow when it’s light. |

Hello! It was 64 and sunny here yesterday. We took L to the zoo and then my in-laws came over for cake and presents. She did have a massive diarrhea at the zoo and did not make it to the bathroom... like so bad we tossed our (very cheap) umbrella stroller she had been sitting in. It was not delightful and I felt terrible for her and all the people in the crowded bathroom as I tried to clean her up.

Morning time. I'm going to barre in a bit and then mh and j are going to the baseball game with FIL. I figured N would be a drag and j can prob watch for longer. We may hit Ikea to see if I like any white curtains to brighten up our bedrooms since they seem to be on sale, and some wooden planters to put on our 3' ledge in the middle of our yard. I looked for horse trough planters but the available options seem super cheap looking or super pricey, so this could be a good compromise since we need probably 5 to make our little garden fence situation.
Mh tried to close any holes under our sink with some foam situation to make sure mice can't get in there. I'm scared to see how much of a mess he made...I'm realizing he isn't exactly handy. I'd have done it, but it seemed like it wasn't safe for me to use bc he had to wear gloves and goggles.

Dh is still sleeping. I’m up catching up on Project Runway while kid free. I’m meeting my mom for a pedicure at noon then going to pick C up after. Dh and I did nothing last night. Picked up takeout and finished the Madeline McCann docuseries. It was a nice relaxing night.

Morning!
I woke up MOTN and it took me forever to fall back asleep, so I slept late this morning and feel like half the day is gone.
DH is heading to the grocery store for essentials; we are going to some friends’ for dinner so I’m going to make a key lime pie to take. Not much on the agenda today otherwise.

Morning. Colin came in our room around 6 and I let him crawl in with us because he needs more sleep right now. He seemed quite a bit better yesterday but he's a wreck again today. DH and I already talked about him most likely not going to school again tomorrow, though DH is going to have to make that call since I'm flying out this evening. I always have a hard time leaving but this is going to be worse than usual. At least I'm packed and showered. DH is at the grocery store and I have some sheets in the laundry because Col's need to be changed after each use right now. He's so sweaty and his nose is so runny! |
