Nothing big planned here. I’m going to take the kids to the library and then to Michael’s to buy some Easter crafts to do this afternoon.
Today we’ve been in our house for one year! It feels like a much shorter period of time. Because I don’t want to derail the premade/pre-portioned meals that I’ve made for myself, we’re going to make individual strawberry shortcakes to celebrate. I can easily indulge in the berries with a tablespoon of whipped cream, and skip the cake part!

guster It doesn't seem like a year has gone by already! Happy House-versary! Work should be quiet today, we aren't running production or shipping this week because of a physical inventory. So it's my time to catch up on filing and all the bullshit I don't usually have much time to do. Hopefully we can leave a little early too.

I’m confronting my managers today asking for my new job description. Then setting up a meeting with C and my old bosses. I need to get out of there.

I basically turned it down before formal offers were on the table. Their lack of PTO (I'd go from 20 days to 0 the first year, then only 5 days after) plus the bad feeling I got from one of the people that I would manage, just made me realize it wouldn't be a good fit. |

Not much going on here this morning. I just set up the Crock Pot for dinner and after drop-off C and I have a couple errands to run.
It’s chilly and rainy here today, I want to get home and turn on the fireplace!

Done with registration. I had everything already copied and just had to fill out a couple more forms. They tried to say she needed more shots, but then it ended up the chick was reading it wrong and she is up to date.
I put new contacts in and my eyes are telling me these are not right. I guess I'll put my old ones back in and see if I can get in to see my eye doctor. I'm overdue for a visit anyway.
