It's raining here this morning. I need to get groceries and do laundry. One of my best friends is coming over this evening for drinks, so I need to do some cleaning.

I've got an iced coffee, its raining, I don't work for 11 days. Swim competition this afternoon. I haven't trained well this week but I'll do my best.

Morning. Up with the kids and going to do a peleton ride and check out the cherry blossoms. This afternoon I have a girl's night with my high school bff, we are going to the mall without kids tonight and getting CPK like we did a ton in high school. I also am grabbing a pedicure before that. I'm pretty excited even though this is kind of a super lame night out..

Good morning! I had breakfast with a friend who’s from Austin this morning, she just moved here. It was fun . I got beautiful ranunculus at the market, so happy they’re here again . My sister is arriving in a little bit, can’t wait to see her!

tallb I'm hanging out with my HS BFF too, must be the day. Although we are old and lame and just staying at my house.

Morning, we are going to pick up the kids this afternoon and I am ready to have them back. It was nice to have the downtime, don't get me wrong, but I miss them too.

We had a little drama with our dog trainer yesterday. I was not thrilled with how our first two hour session went, and she has a bit of a condescending additude, so we needed to get that straightened out.

A got his new 60 inch TV yesterday and I got a new vacuum. Me using my new toy is interfering with him enjoying his lol. I've gotten alot put away and it's starting to come together. R is coming over after work to help A move our dressers. The dog fence isn't in because surprise, its pouring down rain. So we have to take them back to my parents. But they'll come stay the night again. They're so funny walking around, peeking in closets and just exploring everything.

Morning! Rainy here too. I just got a haircut. I think we will run errands and go out to lunch when A wakes up.

Morning! Just caught up on yesterday, we were busy all day. I took the day off, went shopping in the morning and spent waaaaay to much, oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Cant take it with you.

Then yesterday we set up J’s new room with a bed. She loves it! At one point she was curled up sleeping just on the full size pillow, it was adorable.

With that, we were able to move all the toys out of the living room to the kids’ rooms, donations, some for selling and to the basement. We bought 2 new area rugs for the living room, so we’ll be deciding this morning which to keep and return. It’s like a whole new house.

C decided he is not sleeping at the beach house and my dog decided she’s not relieving herself without a backyard. I have walked the 2 of them at least 40 miles. C is finally asleep in the stroller in the house now. I also started a load of laundry at 7:30 am and it’s now almost noon and it’s still full of bubbles. I’m hoping I am using the machine incorrectly and it’s not broken. Although the house is new, the machine definitely is not. DH and his dad have been mounting a tv for 3 hours. I keep reminding myself that one day I will love it here and at least I have found 4 ice cream and 2 liquor stores in walking distance.

MH is in such a grumpy/stressed out mood. It’s a lot in what should be a light sunny weekend. I’m spending lots of time outside with the kids. I refuse to let his mood get to me.

Dh has my cold. I’m feeling a little better and my voice is coming back I took C to Target this morning and let Dh sleep in. I want to get C outside today since it’s 60 and sunny. I just need to regain my energy. Dh is up now but pretty useless so I think parenting is ok me today.

Morning! Cleaning lady cane this morning, so I finished picking up and got us ready to leave the house. So far I hit up two good sales at gap and carters and we just got lunch so we can head a few miles north for strawberry picking. Should be a fun day.

M has been very impatient and always complaining. I should have not told him where we were going so he couldn’t bug me all morning.

kim22 I’m sorry your lousy week continues into the weekend. Hope everything sorts itself out so you can enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Cadence lost one of her earrings at school. She is refusing to let me take the current one out, or put new ones in. I even said we could just put 1 new one and leave the current one. Nope.
It lead to a very frustrated me going back and forth with her on it this morning and now I have a headache.
She's now piddling over eating her lunch and we need to be out the door in 5 minutes for swim class. She doesn't even have her suit on yet.
I think I'm going back to bed after swim. I need a do over.

This is B lately, too...the ‘how much longer/are we there yet’ en route to like, Home Depot absolutely drives me bonkers, let alone something actually fun/exciting.

Have fun strawberry picking! We did that in KS when B was just a baby, I think they’d love it now that they’re old enough to actually pick 😂

Hi!

It’s beautiful out today—please stay around, sunshine and 70s.

B had his last basketball game and team ‘party’ afterwards today; he had a good game and made 2 shots from practically half-court, which was hilarious bc I’m always telling him he needs to shoot from closer in. Joke’s on me, I guess!

After that we got subs and ran a couple errands.

My parents are in Italy right now and I was showing B pics they sent. DH and I launched into an explanation of Roman culture and its influence on modern civilization. B interrupts to say, “wow! looks like Papa got some cool new sneakers!” 🤦🏻‍♀️ So much for my history lesson, I see where the 5 y.o’s priorities lie 😂

Yes! The whole morning of ‘when are we going to be there/ how much longer’ is so annoying. They had a blast. I’m glad we went.

Looks like everyone is heading back home from the beaches after spring break. There were so many TN, KY, MI license plates and so much traffic heading north. It looked way worse when we were on our way back. Glad we got an earlier start.

Dh is being a total man about his cold. C and I left and went to the playground. It’s odd how I had this same cold and dragged my ass out of bed for pretty intense training everyday and he can’t even leave the couch or bed. I missed C though so I’m not too annoyed.
