I might try that, lfig . Glad it worked, thanks for the idea! Some parents must have been acting like fools at the elementary today because we all just got a message from the principal in ALL CAPS telling everyone not to pick-up or drop-off in the parking lot. I only tried it with the pills (4 pills crushed and 2 capsules with sprinkles inside dumped on the spoon) so far - tonight I will try it with the liquids (3 mL of one med, 4 mL of another med, and 1 mL of chocolate syrup all drawed up in 1 syringe). I try to administer as many at once as I can without gagging her, since it has been such a drawn out process with her holding it in her mouth. If I did 1 med at a time we'd never get through her meds in the mornings and evenings.

Men - 50% Women - 25% Gay experience- 37% (obviously these can take place well before or well into a marriage, who knows) Interesting timing seeing this right after I wrote my post. Maybe I'm too close minded about it... hmmm. Something to think about. The more I am thinking about it, really, the more I feel like it would make me sad for him. Did he always know he was gay and feel like that could be suppressed? It doesn’t excuse the charade, but some people feel forced to do that or can’t even accept/acknowledge to themselves they are gay until much later in life.

My mom and my dad's two sisters were once having a discussion about infidelity; all three had husbands that traveled quite a bit for work. One sister said, "Despite his traveling, I don't think my H would ever cheat on me; he just doesn't have it in him." The other sister basically told her, "Don't be naive, every man that travels cheats, b/c he can."
My mom and aunt were both kind of startled by this, and it made them think that her husband probably DID/had cheat(ed) and that's why she had kind of a warped view on it.
At the end of the day, I don't really care what % of the population does it...it could be 99.999. But I expect my H to be the .001, and he'd say the same about me.

flamingo My ex husband traveled for work. I'm 99% positive he cheated on me. I know for a fact that his boss cheated on his wife on practically every trip. He even came back from Brazil with a mysterious infection that he got from "licking a dirty spoon." Yeah, okay. We all believe you...

FTR, I don't think everyone that travels cheats. But I bet a lot of them do.

flamingo I’m with you. Just because somebody (man or woman) could cheat doesn’t automatically mean they will in my opinion.

To me it's about the honesty/trust. Some people have open relationships and are cool with it. Have any of you watched the Netflix documentary The Staircase about the investigation into the murder of Kathleen Peterson, wife of author Michael Peterson? If you believe him, he had sex with men and his wife knew about it. It's the whole sexuality spectrum thing, he wasn't gay per se, but he enjoyed occasional, no emotional attachment sex with males. I can't remember if his wife had sex outside of the marriage too. But to me that's a lot different than sleeping around without your partner knowing, or an emotional attachment to the person as well.
Scott has always been afraid a friend couple of ours will approach us for a foursome. That would be a no.

Yikes tgrimes 😳 I mean, yes the opportunity to be unfaithful probably presents itself more if you’re on the road a lot. But I know of plenty of people who were unfaithful right under their spouse’s nose, too. (The woman on my mom’s tennis team who was cheating with her tennis partner/BFF’s husband...they lived next door to one another). So I think if you’re looking for trouble, you can find it, on the road or not.

FTR, I also don’t think every man cheats when they travel because they can.
What I was intending to illustrate is that it’s common and given the number of gay experience reports I’d bet that particular aspect is more common than we think.

I grew up in the arts and have several friends that are married but the guy has sex with men. The women are cool with it and knew what they were getting into when they got married. It's not for me, but I don't see anything wrong with that.

This might be the most frightening thing I have read! Right? Like surely if I had this condition it would have shown up on an ultrasound or whatnot by now. Right??

I am feeling very chatty, for some reason (might be the wine). I need to get up and start cooking dinner but, lazy.
Does anyone else find 5 to be a really annoying age in some ways? Lately it seems like B's emotions are very close to the surface, he'll start crying over the smallest, most insignificant thing, and the whining is non-stop. Is this just kids? Please, BTDT moms, tell me this is a phase...growth spurt...something.

Please, BTDT moms, tell me this is a phase...growth spurt...something. I find Cass' whining and pointless fits to be insufferable at times. It is a phase. While Madison can be a sassy turd at times, she's otherwise mostly very much a "big kid" and doesn't so easily keyed up over nothing. And there was a long break between the whininess and her current sassiness. This too shall pass.

You get what I’m saying, inthekitty, mwhip. Thank you. Especially the sexuality spectrum piece, I think you can fall on different parts of the continuum during different parts of your life. And one style of relationship that works in your twenties may not work for your forties. But obviously that’s not something you can just decide unilaterally. inthekitty IIRC they did say that Kathy Peterson was also having other relationships, but I’m not sure if that’s true or they did that to try to imply someone else had motive. Also, LOL to the boss saying his infection was from “licking a dirty spoon,” tgrimes. That’s the best he could come up with?

This might be the most frightening thing I have read! Stephen King has nothing on this level of horror.

But his motto was to only cheat with someone who was also married so they had just as much to lose as he did and to only cheat with someone in a different city so you'd never run into them. He literally had multiple girls in all of his regular locations. I don't get it because he was not very attractive.

Yeah... I would not be so forgiving if Mh cheated. I wouldn’t know exactly what I would do in that situation, but if I chose to try to work through it, it would be a very long road to trusting him again. I know I couldn’t consent to him having sexual relationships if that is something he came to ask of me.
I don’t judge those that could though. TETO.

Also, on the topic of cheating with men, I keep thinking of the show Grace and Frankie. I’m on the last season.
