I need to know what kind of balloon sculpture costs $500?! Or did I misread that? Balloon sculpture? I read it as $140 total, then divided by the 4 hostesses, but I could totally have misread. tgrimes we need clarification. and if it is $500, we will require pictures of this plated gold balloon monstrosity. |

I do give first time mom's some leeway in registering for ridiculous things.. everyone needs to learn the stress of having a blowout in a fancy outfit and testing their laundry skills. Most veteran moms pick out useful stuff off the registry anyway, so the goofy stuff lingers.

Hmm have not considered nightgowns for N...it's still cold so we are still in fleece footie PJs. I was planning on sticking to tops/bottoms for summer, but maybe I'll scope out options.

chrisy01 what does getting your car smogged mean? In California every few years to get your tags you have to get your car tested for emissions to make sure it’s not producing too much of smog We just call that emissions testing. Lol. Illinois used to require it...I'm sure they probably still do. But Missouri doesn't, so I haven't had to do that for 16 years! |

The other day we were discussing the robot vacuums....today Zulily has bObsweep for $134 - $229 depending on the model. Original price is $400 - $900. I can't vouch for their quality as I have not had one. But I like that they are sooooo much cheaper than original price. Who doesn't love a good deal?! I may do a little research and order one if they have good reviews.
ETA - Ok, so the reviews look pretty good. But I pulled up Amazon and you can get it just as cheap there. So if I get one I will probably order from there as opposed to Zulily so I can get it in a few days as opposed to a month from now. Lol.

Hello!
I just got home and am eating a quick CFA salad before heading to get the kids.
I went straight from drop-off to (where else) Dillards for a swim suit try on session. Lesson learned: should've gotten a spray tan, lol, or at least had a drink first. Ugh. I had my poor sister texting back and forth with me as I tried them on. I bought one that I love but it was pricey so I am kind of on the fence.

Today is the Cardinals home opener. Baseball season always makes it feel like spring is really here. Lol. We will put the game on and open the windows if it's nice, grill burgers, ect. I'm excited. We are going to our first game of the season in a few weeks. We had partial season tickets before we had Sierra. But then it was just to difficult. Although we might consider it again in the near future.

Today's opening day for baseball. I'm not sure when I'm leaving, H is supposed to let me know when he leaves work and I'll leave shortly after that. Gates open around 9am here, you can get into the stadium at 1:15, game time is 3:15. Even I realize tailgating from 9 to 3 is a terrible idea. It's also supposed to rain, so we may not stay for much of the game. But Evie is super excited. I got up at 4:20 to use the elliptical since I'm not going to the gym at lunch. H woke up shortly after and got up for the day since I woke him. Then at 4:30, standing in the kitchen, getting water before going downstairs, Evie comes out of her bedroom. So she should be an absolute peach this afternoon. I wasn't planning on drinking, but have a feeling I'll need a beer at the game to deal with her crappy attitude. Apparently getting up early to exercise is a shit idea in my house! That is crazy early. I’m up at 5 every morning and I know the day will be total shit if the boys come down before 6:30. |

We have a Sunday plan...well mh and his dad do, but it's transitioning to more j and mh since his dad is getting older and it's a long drive for him.. we tend to trade in a lot of tickets and go for ones we can/want to. It's be cheaper to just buy tickets when we want to go, but mh thinks that someday when they are great he will get something special for being a season ticket holder for a long time. Or to prove he wasn't a fair weather fan🙄. |

I get what cagoldi is saying, but it sounds like you would want the open communication before anything happened. Kind of like an open relationship that is regularly discussed. It works for some people. I am not one of them...I don't share well. Although based off experience, you never know what you will do until you're in the situation. I do think hiding your sexuality would be the end for me. I'm not your beard and I think both parties deserve happiness. |

Our old neighbor family was married for 20 years and had two boys...turns out the husband was in the closet and was cheating on her for years with men and had like full blown HIV and really sick there for a bit.. clearly they are divorced now, but that poor wife. I hope she didn't contract it. Talk about a neighborhood scandal😳.

I bought a suit from Dillard’s for Gulf Shores trip last summer, had buyers remorse, and returned it after the trip because I just couldn’t justify that price fore a swimsuit. I went back for it once they marked all the swim down in August or September and got it for less than half the price. |
