Hi!
Took X to the trail this morning, then did a Target run with P.
I’m batch cooking and getting gussied up for a party. It’s for Pete’s friends and the theme is GLOW like the Netflix show.
Pete is a grump, so he went out for a walk to blow off steam, I guess.

We visited my mom today bc my aunt and her friend are in town for a film festival. I was a bit grouchy at first bc she was in her pajamas and the house was cluttered...it's not like she didn't know she had company staying with her and I told her repeatedly when we were coming and called her🙄. After 2 hours I finally had j tell them and they were so excited and cute. My aunt is an extra grandma to my kids since she only has a granddog, and she about jumped out of her skin. Then we did a quick visit to my dad's and they were surprised but excited. I have a bad headache and mh is doing a solo Costco run.

We had a nice little party and my friend even made it. I was secretly glad when everyone left though, I was starting to get a headache and the chills. I took a bit of a nap and some more Advil, and I'm feeling like I'm going to make it to bedtime. Sorry about Pete, vino. That's really frustrating for your DH, flamingo. |

joelies Happy Birthday to Chase! Closing went great yesterday. The owner left everything, he had said furnished but he even left the kitchen stocked with plates, cups, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, etc, plus sheets and towels for all the beds and baths. DH is away Monday-Thursday so if I have a free day, I may go down with C and just wash it all. We plan on spending the next 2 weekends there before spring sports begin. Today is another hockey tournament but local. They won their first game and the next is in 45 minutes. One or two more tomorrow depending on their standings. DH’s brother is coming to this game and hopefully we will go for dinner after. How long is the drive to your new house? An hour and 15 minutes right now. Will be bad in summer traffic but since DH used to live in the area, he’s going to teach me some shortcuts. |

Pizza didn’t go as smooth as I wanted it to. It’s a nice place with an outside area for kids with patio chairs for adults. I thought it would be easier because of the set up, but nope. We were the hot mess express out there. 🙄
I attempted some errands, too, but guess who pooped twice while while in the stores. After the second one I just headed home.

That’s not bad though! A friend of ours has a lake house and it’s a 2 hour drive. They go every weekend, I feel like that would get old quick. |

We went to the park but came home after about 1/2 hour because it started sprinkling. Some friends came over and hung out for the evening. They left about 20 minutes ago, so now I’m working on getting the kids to sleep. I’m ready to crash soon myself.

Watched Mary Poppins tonight and mh was like j could see this...and then 20 min in he's like nope, he can see it when he's 12. It's pretty dark!
And somehow j peed a little in the trash can in the downstairs bathroom, which is thankfully white solid plastic. He admitted to it, when I said there was something wet in that trash can, but honestly had no idea what it was. Grand Inquisition tomorrow to see if he will explain what his thought process was on that one..

Seriously girls. Ds threw up around midnight and is in an awful mood. I somehow threw my back out yesterday, the pains last night were worse than back labour. Plus l got the kids cold, so every time I sneeze, I want to cry. It is a little more manageable today. I’m so over everything. End pity party for one.

Oh no vino! Poor Pete! Hyperthyroidism is almost a given with cats. Max has it for a thousand years and it was easy to manage once we found the right dose. I hope the seizures are just as controllable. At: I had no idea he was 17! I thought 12ish. He looks great! |

C was up at 4:30 this morning crying because we didn’t wake him when we got home to let him know we came home. I actually did but he doesn’t remember. We made a new plan that we will put flash on the ladder of his bed when we get home so he can just look and know we came home.
I went back to bed kind of until 7. Dh is still asleep. C wants to bike ride today but I want to stave him off until the afternoon so it’s warmer. I’m trying to talk him into the trampoline park but he wants me to play trucks with him. I hate that stuff.

C turned up a couple Easter eggs from who-knows-where and now B is begging me to get their Easter baskets and eggs down from the attic so they can ‘practice’.
DH is on the schedule again at 12 🙏🏼🤞🏻 Weather is looking good and I’m sure the FAA dude would like his $500 cash so let’s make this happen, shall we?

Morning! I woke up with an awful headache that hasn't quite gone away. But DH and Colin are getting egg sandwiches and Chase is quiet-ish, so I can't complain too much.
All that's on the agenda is grocery shopping and a trip to Costco. I'm hoping to convince DH that there's no reason for all of us to go. Then I have to pick between a nap, a gym trip, or work during Chase's nap. Pretty sure my order of preference is about as opposite of what I SHOULD do as possible. LOL

S and I tagged along with MH to a hunt test for Our chocolate lab Java. So far she’s passed everything, one more round to go today. S enjoyed the hotel life. Lol. Lots of new things to explore.

I think of you often when I complain when DD has to go to the “far away gym” because that gym is 12 miles lol. Her regular gym is just over 1 mile so the 12 mile drive makes me cranky. |
