Weekend

It’s supposed to be sunny and in the 50’s this weekend and we woke up to a coating of snow. So annoying!

C and I are going to an indoor farmers market with my parents this morning. Dh is staying back because someone is supposed to come and detail his car but I’m wondering if they will still do it. Later Dh and I are going out and seeing Us. I’m surprised he agreed to it since he doesn’t like scary movies but he enjoyed Get Out so I think that’s why.

Morning. It should be a nice spring day here. E is currently playing by himself instead of our usual snuggle TV watching. I'll take it. I'm leaving before lunch to go to my swim meet. It will be nice to get it with a friend and do something we enjoy. I won't be back until just before bedtime though.

Also I looked in the basement last night and found shorts and summer clothes that should fit. I cannot wait! 1week until Puerto Rico trip without kids!

Morning! I’m at a hotel in Iowa with the kids. Yesterday was long, we drove to my nieces state gymnastics meet downtown Minneapolis after work, then drove 3.5 hours, getting here at 11. Dh is in Nashville so he’s not with us. The room next door was super loud past midnight then up and slamming doors at 6:30am. Fingers crossed they checked out and won’t be back tonight.

We’re here for a family get together for my moms family. Haven’t seen them in a couple years so it should be nice and the Kid’s are excited to swim all day.

Hanging out in bed with Cadence. She came in around 8 and said the cat peed in her bed. Luckily, it wasn't pee, it was a hairball and she missed most of the bed and got the floor, unfortunately I stepped in it because I wasn't expecting it.
No gymnastics this morning so we're just hanging out until swim class.
Tonight mh and I are going to see Us. I'm so excited for it.

Morning! We all slept until about 8:30. Evie has a cold and came into our bed at some point last night, so I slept like shit. I feel cranky.

I have a hair appointment today. I need to go see my mom, but no plans really this weekend.

I do need to run by the liquor store. The store in our little town had an old yellow lab in it all the time. He would jump up on the counter with his front paws when you pulled up to the drive through. He'd follow you around the store when you were shopping. He passed away a few weeks ago and the store is donating 10% of all sales to a local dog sanctuary in town. So I'm going to go stock up.

Waiting for the boys to get home from the trampoline park. I went to the clinic to get an RX for my tonsilitis. It's a bit less painful than last night, so I'm going to keep forcing fluids and Advil.

My ILs, my brother and his wife, and my friend and her daughter are coming over later to visit for Chase's birthday. Should be fun.

DH has his FAA check flight this morning, this is a big deal and I’ve been praying for him (and good weather) all week—it takes forever to schedule and has been rescheduled several times. Fingers crossed...

Haven’t been around a lot, work has been nuts but the election has been called so we’re almost on a gag order with a new policy that effects my work, so work will be boring for the next 3 weeks.

We’re heading out to look at a couple stores to hopefully decide on a mattress for J’s room then hanging outside because it’s going to be nice outside! Hello sunshine, I’ve missed you.
