It’s not basically nothing, nam2013. Having your routine thrown off can really be hard if you have a high need for order. And illnesses have a tendency to do that, especially when they seem so constant. Try to squeeze in some time to relax, if you can. Hugs. Thanks. This means a lot  . |

I think you took a very reasonable approach to it. I'm sorry Goldi. Right? Like, there has been zero nagging about it. He said first quarter of this year and I was fine with that and dropped it. But now that this window of time is rapidly closing, I thought it was reasonable to look at the calendar and try to schedule something together. lahdeedah I don’t think anything has changed, and that’s the problem. I think he was sincere when he agreed to it but when it’s time to discuss details he freaks the eff out. So it’s like we’re back at square one but instead of not moving forward with the discussion ending at “I’m not doing it” the discussion is just dying with “I’ll get around to it.” |

I honestly have no sympathy for men with the "wah, but it will hurt!!" element of the big snip. Women don't have a choice when it comes down to having either their abdomens or vaginas wrecked in half to have a baby. I know complications can arise and all that, but out-of-office procedure compared to birth with at least a 6-week recovery window? Please, no contest. And that's not even considering the 9 months of pregnancy and all the misery that comes along with it.

I'm drinking beer and watching basketball with my boss in our CEOs office. Perfect Friday. cagoldi I know we've discussed it, but what was the reason you couldn't get a tubal? Pete has to remember the mental toll pregnancy takes on you...what is the deal? |

Blerg I'm sorry cagoldi. Weird how guys get so antsy about this. Mh is apparently in the minority bc he was asking a few weeks ago if I thought he could get in this week so he could watch the NCAA tournament while recovering..I said I think he can wait until next year since I cannot get pregnant while still pregnant. And LBH, there won't be much action for monthS afterwards.. |

Yeah I don't get the vasectomy hesitation. I mean, I do, but like, man up, dude. Sorry cagoldi . I'm not an advocate of using sex to control a spouse, but with your health situation and history, damn if this wouldn't make me think long and hard about it. But I am also team TakeNoChances with my b.c. and our sex life. My H actually wants to get a vasectomy and would call and make an appointment tomorrow if I gave him the go, but I'm just not there yet. Realistically we are done but I want to wait a few more years to make anything permanent, and am fine with my IUD in the meantime. I do think he'll have it done before he retires from the Navy, though, so it'll be paid for in full, ha. |

Elective surgery is a little less desirable for me personally because of a higher risk of complications from my my PID and elevated anti phospholipid antibodies, but it’s primarily because of the reasons inthekitty mentioned. I just feel like mentally and physically, I’ve been through more than enough. And if he is willing to let me go through surgery rather than do it himself, I can’t feel good about it. I’m barely back to not feeling resentful as it is. |

flamingo I agree with the statement about not using sex to control a spouse, but that wouldn’t be the case here since my concerns are directly related to what could result from sex due to his continued inaction.

7 PM before we got the all clear, but the water test is good. Builder will call Monday to schedule the final inspection. Hopefully they can get us in Wednesday. We're going to get tons done this weekend so hopefully by Wednesday we can start to move our stuff from my parents and move in officially next weekend.

The meeting went ok. I told them I was not happy being an admin and that’s what this role was turning into. They wanted to change the role for me but I told them no. Hey need these things done. I was happy to continue until we can find someone who would be good/willing to do the job. I gave them until Tuesday to talk with C before I scheduled a meeting with him.

So, this morning I drove to Walmart to get my tire fixed...was told it would be an hour wait so I chose to call a different Walmart to see if they could get me in sooner. The lady made it sound like I would be in and out so I headed over there. On my walk out of the first Walmart back to my car I slipped on some ice that had water on it so my butt got all wet. Made it to the other Walmart to be told that the wait would be an hour. So I wandered around Walmart for an hour window shopping which was super fun. Finally got finished with that and headed to the mall. Found some wallflower scents but apparently I must have missed their spring stuff because they mostly had summer/tropical scents. I went home, replaced the tube in H’s hand me down bike tire and then we went to the zoo. After we came home and ate supper I laid down to watch a YouTube video in my bed and fell asleep for 2 hours. So now I’ll be up half the night. Good thing tomorrow is Saturday and I don’t have anywhere to be.

nam2013 you need a break. It seems like at least one of your kids is sick all the time, I’m sorry. Seriously! According to my gp, their immune system weakened the first time they got really sick and now will pick up on anything... well that is just great. I jinxed myself in December by stating the kids hadn’t really been sick that autumn/winter 🤦🏼♀️. |
