There was a possible terror attack in a close by city. This is a first for Holland. But terror or no terror and idiot opened fire in a tram. My niece used to ride that tram every day. Friends and family are okay. The guy who did it got away, they’re not sure how many victims...

Wow nam2013, that's scary! I hope they find the person who did this before they harm anyone else. My step dad called at 10:45 last night from the ER with my mom. She fell and hit her head, they ended up admitting her. I should have just gone to the ER because I didn't sleep. I'm hoping it was something stupid, but I'm worried. |

I just got to the hospital, so I hope so! That’s great. I didn’t know if they lived farther away. Sending good thoughts! My mom lives 4 minutes from me and the hospital is 10 minutes. She says she got up to go to bed and shut off the lights, hit the column at the bottom of the steps and fell. She has 23 stitches in her scalp. Her eye is bruised and swollen. But I think they will release her today. |

Otherwise I had such a lovely morning with dd. She played dress up, we had tea, I ordered three princess dresses for her birthday 🤦🏼♀️. We switched some toys around and I put some stuff away. Hopefully it will incite ds to start playing again. At the moment we have a house full toys and he’s interested in absolutely nothing...

nam2013 how terrible mwhip 23 is a lot of stitches, I hope she’s ok. I’m at the urologist for my kidney ultrasound, it’s just a follow up that I have to go for every 6 months. I have a massive headache from the St. Patrick’s party I went to yesterday. DH let me sleep but then I was rushing to get my self together and I had no time to eat so I’m also starving. At least I got a sitter for C so I don’t have him with me.

mwhip glad she is on the mend and just a cut, hope she's feeling ok! nam2013, how scary, hope they catch him. Does he like Legos or magnatiles? J is mostly into drawing, Legos, or building things these days. I know you don't like plastic, so not sure if that includes those types of toys

Morning. At work and enjoying some silence. We told my sis over FaceTime last night and they were excited, but she didn't text me at all for hours until I texted her, and then kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. She seems excited but I dunno, just odd. Hopefully just reading too much into it.
I also put N in a different carseat and it's much more spacious in the car. I was tempted to forward face her, but will hold off a bit longer. I was going to trash our nextfit but has 2 years left before it expires so I may clean it up and sell/give away.

I know you don't like plastic, so not sure if that includes those types of toys We just try to find stuff that is a little bit durable, but Lego’s/duplo and magnatiles last generations! Plus trust me, there’s plastic junk in this house 😂😂😂. He normally loves building with duplo/kapla, he has fences and tons of animals. He just sort of lost interest. He doesn’t like arts & crafts, I think he might be over playing inside, fingers crossed spring comes soon!!! |

Lo is celebrating St Patrick’s Day at school today. We colored his hair. My beige sweater now has green on it from his hair. Tried using wipes to get it out, not so much. Hoping no one notices. Work has a lot of rules about how we dress. Sometimes they are a little crazy about it.

@nam, you need a box. A big one. Charlie got some great interactive birthday toys, but he and Josie have been playing in the box that the balance bike came in since last Thursday. It’s an ugly fixture in our playroom, but I’ve watched shift from a restaurant to an airplane to a stage for little figurines, and all kinds of things in between. It’s covered in stickers and markers and crayons and it really is an eyesore, but it makes them so happy.
