We went out to dinner and a concert last night and didn’t get home until 12. By some miracle, D1 slept until 8:30, but I’m still ready for a nap. H just left with her to go swimming, so I might sneak in a nap instead of doing chores. I mean, I’m growing a human, right?
Also in my never ending dark comedy about my legs not working, I somehow tweaked something in my foot yesterday and went from a slight limp to full-on hobbling. I’m sure it was a concerning sight to see me limping my way through Costco yesterday.

I got a little annoyed at MH yesterday... may have raged on him. Oops. He was gone all week last week then comes home for a day, then off all day to an auto show with my dad. Dude. DD has been a crying mess three days the last week like non stop fussing. Fever this morning so now I think I know why. But she’s also saying she’s “nervous for baby boy to be here” and typically toddler ness so it was a lot to handle.
I have a to do list a mile long because I’m just that type of person that needs it all done. Good news everything ish besides sterilizing toys and bottles is done! Now the rest of the house is still trashed but I can’t do it all. Apparently neither can MH cuz he’s napping with DD right now 🤦♀️

nmom that is frustrating. I also hate how exhausted I get by the smallest things like just cleaning up the kitchen and i need to sit afterwards super annoying. And my kids dumping things on the floor almost makes me cry... I am trying to pick up the house kids and bending over sucks...please refrain from tossing things all over the floor K thanks! your exhausted mom.

I went to the grocery store and then cooked dinner last night and then I had to sit down on the couch because my feet were SO SORE and then DD wanted me to come with her upstairs and is trying to pull me off the couch, I almost cried. Please let me sit, child!

Today my doctor said that with my bp they likely would not want me to go past 39 weeks which I guess is not surprising but I’m still bummed about not being able to go into labor on my own unless it happens before then anyway. I would love to hear more about what induction is like if anyone here has experience with it.

bex15, I was induced with my daughter at 39+2. I had a fantastic experience and was hoping to do the same this time. I went in the night before, got cervadil placed, slept well (they gave me a sleeping pill if I wanted it), and then they took it out, I got to shower, and then they placed the pictocin iv. About 1:30 in the afternoon my water broke on it's own. I got the epidural, slept on and off, and felt like things were about to happen at 10 pm. That's when my OB popped in and said she had an emergency section starting in minutes, and I could get the hospital on call OB to come or I can try to stall things for an hour. I told her she better be back by 11:01. I then pushed when she came back, and A was born 11:44. My friend had a longer induction, it didn't work the first day, so they gave her another night of cervadil and another day of pictocin.

Anyone have any nursing tanks recs? I ordered a few from Amazon and they're okay, but I don't really LOVE them. I can't remember where I got mine last time either, maybe Target, but my local store didn't have any last time I looked anyways.

I’m sorry I will say though my induction experience was amazing and it would be my preferred birthing plan this go round lol. I was induced at 37+1 due to pre e. They started with the pill (forget the name) sweeping membranes. I was given two bags of pitocin I did ultimately have to get an epidural my body wasn’t progressing there was talk of magnesium, c section, or try epidural to allow my body to relax. It was magic. Induction started at 9am delivered just before midnight. When I found out I was getting an induction I looked up so many stories and was so stressed out. I think this go around I actually said at my very first OB appointment that I was pro induction if possible 😂

My girls are huge so none of the tanks really fit me well enough to wear anywhere but home. However I loved these last time www.amazon.com/Undercover-Mama-Lace-Trim-Nursing/dp/B00YQ7YQY4They attach to your nursing bra so they become like tanks.

It is also super easy to make something like this if you have (very little) sewing skills. I got a bunch of cheap old navy tank tops last time and cut the straps and hand stitched into little loops.
