chrisy01, we started eggs like 7mo. Our dr said to start with just the yoke so I did that the first 1-2 times.

So when can I introduce eggs? With lo we waited until he had some teeth. I’ve read it’s a great first food but I’ve also read 1 year. Signed Paranoid Mom Other than honey, I was told to start everything at 5-6 months. And strawberries/raspberries right?

I found a place to do a stripper class, will post details in the group.
There’s lap and floor lessons, so we don’t all have to risk life and limb on a pole if we don’t want to.

Hi, morning all.
It's been a busy week at work and there is a job prospect on the table. I have to decide if I want to apply for it or not, it's a big decision so I've got to think it out, crunch the numbers and figure it out this weekend to maybe apply on Monday.
We're going to a hockey game tonight with my cousin and his friend, his wife was supposed to come but she called to tell me that she is PREGNANT!!! but can't come because she's on bed rest, poor thing. But I'm so elated for them that they're having a second.

kim22 Your oldest loves Wayne Gretzky, right? I took this picture when I went to the hockey game a couple weeks ago and thought of him. It’s the entire wall in the new arena, so neat. Let me know if I can pick anything up for you for him, I’d be happy to

Hi Ladies, I'm still catching up on yesterday. I've been in a funk due to some family drama. Posted in the group, could use some support. Kids are home today so it's a bit crazy, but I'll be back.

M threw up this morning so I’m going to stay home a bit to see if she perks up after the zofran. If so, off to school & work we’ll go. She said her spit tasted yucky when she woke up. Anyone with acid reflux have a similar issue? Yup.
Does she sleep flat? You might try propping her up a bit so she's at more of an angle.
She thrashes around at night so I don’t know if she’s stay propped up.

tgrimes I hope it’s a one off and the zofran helps. Do you note what she ate the previous day when she does throw up? I wonder if certain foods trigger this. Yes but I don’t think it’s food since she eats the same shit all the time. Yesterday it was raspberries, peanut butter sandwich, applesauce, yogurt, pretzels, and chicken. If it was food she’d get sick every time she ate it, right?

At our 6 month visit, our pedi said to make sure to start PB, eggs, and fish immediately. 9 months for citrus and then honey at 12. Better to do the common allergens sooner rather than later is the current recommendation. This is what I was told too. Both my kids had eggs well before a year. And B didn't have teeth till 14 months!

I took the kids to daycare and was getting Hayden a registration packet for dayschool in the fall when M walked in and threw up again. I took her home and she’s thrown up 3 more times.
FML.

Morning! M wasn’t happy about going to school this morning. I think he wanted to stay home with my ILs, but he has soccer this afternoon at school, so he went. M2 is a hot, clingy mess. His separation anxiety is so bad and exhausting. We are making the offer today and OMG the anxiety is in full force. If you guys need me, I’ll be breathing into a paper bag. I hate this... please cross all the things that this goes smoothly. Woo Hoo! Exciting. There were two that were contenders, which one did you decide? After talking it over with our realtor again, we are putting the offer on the first one, not the FSBO. If this offer doesn’t work out, we may revisit the other if nothing else comes up in the next month.

lfig Remind me, were you vomiting multiple times in the morning? You can pm me if you want. I would vomit multiple times a day at its worst (like 8-9 times), and all throughout the day. Usually about 30 min to an hour after eating. But sometimes even when I hadn’t ate anything. Even chewing gum would cause me trouble. Because it signals to your body that you’re eating even if your not swallowing. And also drinking through a straw doesn’t help either, because it puts excess air into you. It helped when I slept propped, I bought a wedge pillow. But with M moving around a bunch, you might be better off to put something under the mattress to prop it up. In my case, the problem was the lower esophageal sphincter that was not tight enough. So it allowed the acid to come up too easily. Have they done an upper endoscopy on her? Or a gastric emptying study? The tests I had done were the upper endoscopy (which showed the hiatal hernia and loose lower esophageal sphincter), they did a gastric emptying study to see how food passes through the stomach and too see if it moves through in a timely fashion (that test was normal for me), and a pH probe study (which is where they put a tube up my nose and down my throat for 24 hours to see how much acid I was producing. This was the one that they did to verify I needed surgery.
