Morning! It is still lovely today, tomorrow the rain is coming in, so after dd’s nap we’re heading towards the dunes. I’m still a snotty mess & I’ve got pink eye in both eyes, but being outside helps! I’m meeting someone for drinks tonight, I’m looking forward to it, but I wish I wasn’t feeling so crappy.

Morning! I feel like crap but can’t call out today. Boss MM (both of my new bosses names start with m) will take over the few projects I have going today and I don’t want that. He’s already taking responsibilities away from me because he feel I can’t handle it. I really want to say to him: No offense I’ve done more project walks then you. Let me do some work.
But I won’t.

mwhip I hope it starts warming up so the ice melts. It isn't going to get out of the 20s today, so I just have to wait for the roads to be treated and the in laws to feel like they can make their 30 minute drive. |

It’s super cold here but I’m working from home so at least I only had to leave the house for drop off.
My dentist had a cancellation tomorrow so I am having my route canal. I’m so not looking forward to it.
Also my scale shows me up another lb from yesterday! wtf! I know I need to just not weigh myself especially since my measurements are better but I just need to see it going in the right direction.

chrisy01 I missed what's going on at work. You left your one group to work with this new group, but you don't like it? I remember you not liking the original team you were on because they took advantage of you. Is the job you are interviewing for a promotion?

It is supposed to get up to 80 today and then drop to the 40s tonight, 50s tomorrow and then 80 again Friday, then this weekend is going to be 50s with rain. I'm telling you, Mother Nature is one hormonal biotch this year.

For those whose kids watch YouTube, have you all heard of this freaking Momo thing? I just talked to Evie about it, showed her a picture and told her if it ever shows up, to pause the video and bring it to whoever she is with at the time.
She asked me why people are so weird. Good question kid...

THis morning at dropoff E's best girl friend came up, gave him a hug, grabbed his hand and they walked around the class hand-in-hand. It was so cute! I pray they are still friends for years to come since they will be in school together. I laugh that it might be one of those scenarios where he dates her little sister

I get mixed information on FB, one person even posted a snopes article that it's fake, but then someone said her kid saw it, so I don't know what's real. I figure it's better for her to be aware, just in case. |

mwhip, I haven't seen the momo thing till just now but a friend sent me a different article a few days ago about something similar. I'm thinking of removing youtube and youtube kids. It will make my life more difficult, but I use youtube for when I am not around (like when I shower). People are disgusting.

I saw something about videos where in the middle of them a man comes out and shows them the "right" way to kill themselves. Cadence hasn't seen any of it, or at least not that I know of. I try to keep an ear on what she is hearing. I made her change it the other day just because they were talking about something looking like vomit and I was like, nope, change it. |

Morning! I'm working from home after a quick trip to the DMV. I was going to take the morning off but I finished so quickly and I can't really NOT be working right now, so here I am. Boo. And I had to leave so early that I barely had anytime with the boys, so double boo. At least we're halfway to Friday and I'm spending more time without my boot on, which gives me so much more flexibility. I hated feeling like so much was on DH's shoulders.
Anyhow I hadn't heard of this Momo thing but I googled it. WTF is wrong with people?

I left because I wanted to move up and they kept promising but not fulfilling. This new team is horrible. They have called me an admin a ton of times which is not what I’m am. Update on my family situation:
So it turns out my fuckface father somehow got a reverse mortgage on his house about 1-2 years ago. I can only assume illegal dealings were involved because it was for more than the value of the house. He apparently hasn't paid a dime of it. So that's it. At one point in time that asshat was sitting on over a million dollars with a house free and clear, meanwhile my siblings and I were living in poverty and didn't have health insurance. That fucker snorted it all up his nose. Apparently he did the same with the $250+k he got from his house in the past year or two. So there's nothing. I have a feeling his siblings were involved.
The obit came out today and they made him look like a fucking saint. I much preferred when the first thing that popped up on Google about him was his arrest record. I'm tempted to show up at the funeral and whether or not they invite others to speak, march up to the pulpit at the end. I have my entire speech made. His family always acted like my siblings and I were "mean" to my father for not putting up with anymore of his BS. I don't like the idea of the narrative being spread once again that we're filled with hate and can't forgive our poor "disabled" father, even in his death. But part of me just says "fuck it" and try to be like Michelle Obama and take the high road.
So my mom's trying to figure out what she can about the loan to see if there's anything there worth getting a lawyer on. But I doubt there's anything we can unearth so we're just screwed.

mwhip I’ve already deleted youtube off our iPads. It is still on the TV & they watch it there sometimes but it’s so much easier for me to monitor since I can see & hear it. Very sad that this is even an issue. Wow that sounds like a mess inthekitty I’m sorry that your family is dealing with that. ❤️

No, but whatever janky loan company gave him the money will take back the house (which he was given free and clear so there should have been no debt on it). So there are no assets. He still owed my mom $30k in back child support that she always planned on getting when he died. He made certain she'd never see any of that. |

Is anyone watching the testimony? Whoa. I actually have hope this is the beginning of a looooooonnnng end. The republicans on the panel are a pathetic disgrace. The only thing they've tried do to is discredit Cohen. That's all they've got up their sleeve. Cohen might be slime, but that doesn't mean that Trump isn't. And they know that. You don't just happen to have every member of your team be a complete sleazy criminal and somehow you are innocent.
