I'm having dinner with a friend tonight at a wine bar. I specifically picked tonight because it's 1/2 off bottles. I'm pretty excited.

Today is the interview. I was going to wear the red shirt but it was too see through so I’m going with the green. I have been informed that unless there is a better qualified external candidate the job is mine to lose. So no pressure right? Also if I don’t get this, multiple people have told me that they will be moving me to another position since I’m so miserable in my current one.

It's typically a struggle to get C to eat anything before school. This morning he ate 3 bars, a cheese stick, a slim Jim, cereal and a pouch. I feel bad I didn't make him a proper breakfast!

Morning.
Sun’s out again...2 days in a row, woohoo!
DH took B to school, so C and I are having some breakfast and then we need to run to the post office and alterations place. I also need to make some headway on my book for book club tmrw. Oh, and housework...sometimes I just feel like nothing stays done for more than 5 minutes 😩

Cadence is supposed to start soccer today at school. No other 4-5 year olds signed up. They said they would put her with the 3 year olds, if I was ok with that. I said fine, but then Cadence said no. I told her she's just learning about soccer, so it shouldn't matter who she is playing with. We'll see what happens.
They extended sign up for another week and I told Cadence to tell her friends to sign up, so we'll see. Here's hoping she doesn't plow some 3 year old over and hurt them.

chrisy01, good luck! Happy birthday S! trtlcrzy! klong11, that's a tough one. I feel like C wouldn't learn much in a soccer class with 3yos since their physical abilities are so different. Hopefully more kids sign up. If not, do you get a refund?

She is better today. I am not sure what her deal was yesterday. She acted ok when we got home for about 30 minutes, then crawled up on the couch and fell asleep for about an hour and a half (not typical), and then was mostly ok in the afternoon but wouldn't eat. Today she woke up fine so I took her to school. They called me about 45 minutes later and she had been having a cluster of seizures (3 or more seizures in an hour) and had to administer her emergency seizure medicine. But they said she was acting fine so she is still there. And I am at work an hour away. So hopefully she makes it through the day today! |

Since I started taking mirtazapine for anxiety I have gained 5#. I am annoyed. I started weaning off last week and still gained another lb. I am hoping to be completely off of it by next week and have a message into my psychiatrist to try something else because I do need something. It was helping curb my anxiety induced frustration and I feel that creeping up already but I cannot go down a road of weight gain.
Everything I have read says when you get off of it the weight falls off within a few weeks so hopefully that is the case. In the meantime continuing BBM and eating better.

trtlcrzy Happy Birthday S! chrisy01 good luck today! No beach house hunting for me, my 11 year old woke me up at midnight and he had a fever. Of course then the baby got up and then T wet his bed and then the baby got up again. We are going to go Saturday to see houses but since the kids don’t know what we are up to, we have to decide if we are going to tell them or just ask the realtor to pretend we are looking for a rental for a week in the summer, we have done that in the past with them. I swear T has some weird extra sense. Yesterday he goes “mom, we should go to the beach when summer comes and stay there until winter comes back.” Then he added “but I’m not sharing a room with Thomas, he’s too mean. He can sleep in the yellow room.” The house we always rented does not have a yellow room, nor does our house here. DH said if I were to see a house with a yellow room today, that would be the one we are suppose to get.

They extended sign up to the end of this week, so I will see if any others sign up and how she feels. If she isn't happy, then I'll ask about a refund. |

Thanks everyone! We took H to school and then stopped for donuts on the way home. She’s definitely already acting like a threenager with her sass. I took tonight off work so I’ll make her a special dinner and we will have cupcakes. I can’t believe my baby is already 3. She was just born yesterday, right? Good luck today chrisy01! |

We went to the good library to play and omg. Theres a million kids here. It's the same day and time we always come and normally theres like 2 other kids. I have no idea what's different.
I put in my grocery order but the pick up time is 3-4. Hoping they text me that they're ready earlier.
