The only musical connection I can think of right now is that 3/4 of the members of The Spill Canvas went to HS with DH. He says that’s Nick, the lead singer, is a douche bag but Landon is cool.
I also got to go on stage and look pretty while some bands were announced at Country Jam in CO when I lived there. I think we maybe talked to 1 band very briefly and I have no clue who it was.

I used to worked at a sports arena/convention center in college, so I met a bunch of famous musicians and sports players. I am horrifically uninformed with pop culture, so I made a few terrible blunders along the way. Notables I remember meeting were Fred Durst, Sysco, Brittney Spears, the Rock, Nsync, Janet Jackson and the backstreet boys. You can def tell what era I was in college during 😉

I don’t have an Allman Brothers story, but before my dad was a police officer, he drove a tour bus for the Doobie Brothers. I always like them.
And in college Eve 6 came back to my townhouse because I was on the concert committee but had to head back home for an emergency (my dad had a heart attack) and i was going to miss their concert that night. My roommates were privy to acoustic Inside Out.

Pete doesn’t even know, although he has correctly guessed which band. It’s sooooo embarrassing. I think you said it was metal, but it’s not Nickelback is it?? Lol, that’s one of the ‘worst’ popular bands I can think of. ETA: n/m I see someone guessed it. I’m sure it will surprise no one when I say I’ve never heard of them. MH has, tho. |

Hi all! Second full day of vacation and it’s been great. N is learning to swim by herself and lost her first tooth yesterday. H is loving the beach and swimming. Overall very relaxing. Our friends are heading home tomorrow but we’re here until Friday. I am just trying not to think about the cold waiting for us. I was hoping getting back March 1st would mean spring, but that won’t be the case.

I also worked at the 3 major arena's in STL (hockey, football, and the best...babeball) from about age 18-21. Mostly I met players of other sports (baseball players at the hockey arena coming to watch). But I got to escort Scott Wolf (of Party of Five fame) to his table at a hockey game (he is originally from a town over by Sunny41). And since it was 20 years ago, I don't remember much else  . |

There was a radio station In my office tower in ATL so entertainers were always coming and going. Ludacris and Tommy Lee had some traveling show they did on a bus that filmed outside our building. I met Luda and Snoop Dogg, and rode in an elevator with Whitney Houston. Lol at Sysco dapostrophe. I’d forgotten about him! On one of our early dates DH and I went to a wine bar and there was an acoustic musician there. About halfway through a song it kind of dawned on us simultaneously that he was playing The Thong Song 😂 |

Is it bad that I’m relieved it’s my kid that got hurt when a teacher goes over an incident report? I just automatically assume C did something wrong and was so relieved to hear another kid scratched him. It’s really not bad at all but his sensitive skin made it look way worse.
