This weekend was decent - DS1 had an over the top birthday party to attend yesterday, so that was something fun for him to do. DS2 is continuing to be very very clingy to me, BUT it seems like overnight, his walking skills have improved so much! I’m hoping that means he was going through a leap, which was/is causing the crappy sleep. I hope whatever we’re going through is over soon! I want my decent sleep back!

DS2 stopped puking about 3am. He seems ok this morning, though we're limiting his intake.
DS1 STTN and is eating a light breakfast.
DH and I are spared, so far. Super tired, though.

CoachTsWife I hope that was the last of the sickness for you all. At least your LO let STTN so you only needed to attend to one kid. Hopefully that will continue tonight so you can recover! Taitai can I tactfully ask how over the top this bday party was without sounding like the nosy bitch I am? Also hopefully DS2 starts sleeping better for you all now.

DD2 is in the middle of teething hell right now. She is getting her lower canine teeth (or whatever they’re called) and 😳😬😳😬
She threw her food on the floor at lunch and started chewing on her silicone plate. She was promptly drugged with some Tylenol pre-nap because for this girl to pick something else over food must be serious!

I think we are teething here too. She won’t let me feel in her mouth (she bites 😬) but the pediatrician said some big ones are coming in at the back. She’s already got her baby molars so not sure what could be happening.
She’s been really clingy though and it’s driving me bananas.

Well, my hypothesis of the leap/sudden advancement in walking causing the bad sleep seems to be correct thus far! LO slept in the crib from 7pm-6am last night, with just one wake up at 2:30am to eat, and then back down in the crib. Soooo much better than the 10:30/12:30/2:30/4am wake-ups we’d been dealing with the past week or so. Let’s hope we get back to normal for a while! danvers Hahaha - of course you can ask! Just another $3k birthday party 🤣😂. There were about 65 people there, a $500 cake, catered lunch, face painting, balloon twisting, entire indoor play business rented out for the day, lovely decorations, magic show, barista/coffee bar for parents, and send home gifts for attendees that were way too nice. Par for the course. It’s just insane. |

My kid is driving me crazy with food. I dont know what it is but she has 0 interest in anything I make at home. Out to eat? Fine. At home? Immediately on the floor.
This morning she physically removed pancake from her mouth (with her hand, not like spitting it out for fun) and threw it all on the floor. Every. Single. Meal.
I'm going crazy over here. Shes basically vegan now.

Shes basically vegan now. my child is also doing this. He’s turned anti meat and loves to wipe his hands back and forth on his tray to throw everything off. And if he sees something on your plate he wants more, he spits out his food, throws it on the floor, and reaches/cries for whatever you have. Also doesn’t eat it if shared. My dogs have never been happier or more useful. |

Taitai we went to a kid birthday party like that last year. It was at a country club. 🙄 cythe my kid’s diet consists of what I’m eating. On my plate NOT THE SAME FOOD ON HER PLATE OMG GROSS. I am not amused.
