I love that wedding! Good pick. I saw they were having a big sale this weekend. I'd like something new for spring/summer but other than "neutral" I have no idea what I want.

Ohhh I love that purse wedding!! I just switched purses today. I was carrying a Kate Spade that I loved the look of, but was not comfortable to carry nor was it practical. And when lugging an uncooperative 5 year old around I need comfort and convenience. So I think I’m going to try and sell it. I only used it for 2 weeks even though I bought it last summer.

I’m sorry for all the sick kiddos.
We went to visit my grandparents today. Now just hanging out at my parents house for the rest of the day. Sadly won’t get to see my nieces and nephew this trip as they are spending the night with one of their other aunts.

Just went to Costco and swung by Gymboree bc I had a gc. Turns out yesterday was the last day to use them😠. I was a bit rude when she told me (thankfully I asked before I browsed) and said well I'm definitely not spending any more money here and peeled out of there. $66 wasted😭 (it was a returned gift, but still) Dang it. Any way to use it online? Maybe they have a later date or haven't restricted it yet

Hi girls.
Dude still has a fever and cough, but it is lower and he has a little more energy. He still isn’t eating but seems much better so we were spared a trip to urgent care.
Just lying low today so everyone can get plenty of R and R.

I know some of you were friends with thine on Facebook. Did she get married? For some reason I was thinking it was going up be fall or early this year. Thinking about her and wishing her all the happiness

Online they still have stupid prices for things though..$20+ jeans and you are liquidating, seems a bit steep.

DH and DS1 are at his hockey playoff game. We have Devil’s tickets afterwards and we are all suppose to go. C has been ok since 11:30 last night but I’m still deciding if we are going or if I’m going to tell H to just take one of DS’s teammates in my place. Everyone is off tomorrow so I was looking forward to a fun night out.

mamabear I’d get a sitter and just ignore any comments. If it were 10 minutes away, I’d do two cars but for 40 minutes, it doesn’t seem worth it.

I went to Crazy 8’s last week and they had shirts I bought T over Christmas break for more than what I paid for them at that time. Good thing I have nothing better to do then check back every week to see when they actually give a good discount.

wedding is winning this weekend! I just took E to MILs for the night, she doesnt have school tomorrow so no need for them to get up early. H is in bed napping again. Hes supposed to drive 7hrs tomorrow for work...I don't know how that's going to happen. I'm going to meet someone off marketplace and buy some puzzles. I like to think they're for evie, but lets be honest...they're more for me. I'll probably grab some ice cream while I'm out.

mwhip Maybe I need to go buy a puzzle, I feel like all I'm doing is surfing the internet and mentally spending $$ (and actually spending it, b/c I have placed two orders so far). The rain is back and I am in a funk today. Winter can clear out any time. Ice cream also sounds good. Darn, you have all sorts of good ideas today!

With H sick all weekend, we havent really left the house since we got home Friday. With the exception of groceries. And ice cream is always good!

MH and I read all the time, but we use our devices (or audio books). Yesterday, Josie remarked that that the library had books for grownups. We then realized that, even thought our house has plenty of physical books, we no longer read them. We explained to her that we read varied and often, but I know they need the model of a grownup reading a book, so I bought one a new one today and mh got one as a gift from a student a few weeks ago, so we tried today and it is a learning curve to get back to paper and ink.

If someone goes to Denver and say buys edibles, can they bring them home? Can they mail them home to another state or is that something that gets checked?
Asking for a friend....

Ha! This is kind of crazy to think about! Good luck with the adjustment 😉. I read on my Kindle when I commuted by bus, but now read paper books when I do get a chance to. Not sure my kids see me read to much though since it's normally after their bedtime.

snoopmommymom I’m going to look into that. Is it not legal in NY? I don’t smoke (or eat) any, but I know here we have dispensaries and even delivery services.

I’m taking M to the toy store to pick out something. I had to bribe her somehow yesterday. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ No shame in that game. Did she finish it? Did she get cleaned out? Yes, she’s all cleaned out. Next time I’m going to ask to do magnesium citrate again. It tastes like ass but if you buy the different flavors you can set them up like shot glasses. It sucked but it was way easier than what she had to do yesterday.

I check out books from the library for this very reason. Plus I just like the feel and smell of a good book 😁

Hey ladies, just checking in on my way into the city. It took me all day to pack 4 kids and a dog, and now it's going to take all night to get there becase it's snowing. We are going to the aquarium tomorrow and you have to buy tickets ahead of time, so snow or no snow we are going!

I made the switch to digital many years ago (while I was still teaching actually) and happily never looked back. I think the last paper and ink book I read was 2009? The Mermaid’s Chair and I never finished it.
