Morning! DH and Colin already left for the mountain, but not before Colin threw an epic fit. He hasn't been getting enough sleep and he's never skied so much, so I'm not surprised. He was fine by the time they left. Chase is now pestering DH's aunt (though she loves it) while I catch up here and with email.
We're going to the other Aunt's condo again tonight for dinner. Last night was a blast and the boys had fun together and kept everyone laughing. I'm so glad the weather held up so we could make it work.

Morning. Kids let me sleep in again, bless them. I’ve been dragging the last couple days so hoping to get in a work out this morning, then we might go to a movie this afternoon. Laundry and house cleaning also needs to happen.

kim22 hope he feels better this morning. cagoldi how is A doing? tgrimes are you continuing the yucky drink again today? Sunny41 congrats on your swim, thats awesome! Youve worked so hard to get to this point! We didn't get the snow forecasted last night, just a dusting. H is still in bed, not sure how he's feeling. Evie drove me nuts yesterday, so we may need to get out of the house today.

MH is at work this morning. The kids and I grocery shopped. I'm about to clean. MH is going to take C and L out for a few hours this afternoon (I did yesterday) so I can have the house mostly to myself.

kim22 cagoldi tallb hope everyone is feeling better today! Morning! Sun is out temporarily so that is cause for celebrating. Currently taking Christmas china out of my china cabinet and putting the regular back on display 😳🙈 DH is going to take the kids to the trampoline park this afternoon and I might hit Michaels for spring stuff. I’m also scoping out the JCrew sale...I probably should take advantage on stuff I know I want to refresh/replace.

We got an invitation from my MIL to a surprise birthday dinner for my FILs 70th. It's at 6:30 PM., about 40 min away. Usually A goes to bed around 7-7:15. and any time we have pushed it later, like until 8, it's been miserable (screaming for the entire car ride home). Also, she's not very good in restaurants generally. I feel like it would be better if just DH and L go, and I stay home with her. DH agrees but thinks we'll never hear the end of it. Wwn13d? (Its not for 2 more months) Could you get a sitter just for A and you and your H take L? That’s probably what I would do. We also run a pretty tight ship schedule-wise when it comes to bedtime, so I feel you on that! But for a special occasion with plenty of notice, I’d do what I could to make it work. |

Is there any chance you could get a sitter, so just you and your h can go? I am considering that, I do think we'll still get comments that not all the grandchildren are there. Also considering taking two cars and just peacing out with A when she gets tired, even though that might be before dinner is actually served I would maybe opt for 2 cars or babysitter. For just any birthday I might say just send yh but for a 70th I would make the effort for everyone to show up. Also be sure to feed kids before if it's later than normal dinner time. |

We attended a wedding in November for a family friend's daughter; their son/DIL brought their oldest (maybe 3?) to all the wedding weekend festivities but left the baby at home, and I don't think anyone thought twice of it. Two cars is a good option, too. At least then you'd get credit for having everyone there! |

Just went to Costco and swung by Gymboree bc I had a gc. Turns out yesterday was the last day to use them😠. I was a bit rude when she told me (thankfully I asked before I browsed) and said well I'm definitely not spending any more money here and peeled out of there. $66 wasted😭 (it was a returned gift, but still)

Dh and I slept until 10, worked out, went to the outlets and lunch and are now headed home to be lazy sans child! My MiL sent pics and he’s having a blast so I don’t feel guilty being a sloth.
