Madison was upstairs in the family room and told me she was hungry. I told her she could come down to the kitchen and get something to eat. She replied, "I'm on a 24 hr challenge of not leaving the family room so you'll have to bring it up here." 🙄 Well I guess you'll be hungry.

I was just thinking about summer camp for M. I need to find out what they have in our new city, but I’m not sure what our options are until we know if we will definitely have a house to move in May.

We're going to do two 1-week summer camps to break things up for the girls. MH will be home but it will give them some structure and fun activities. We're going to try the ones at the Y because they are closer than the children's museum.

I used to work for the Y doing summer camps and before/after school care. I really enjoyed doing the summer camps. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed doing the activities with the kids. I was also 18-20 at the time...so 20 years ago. I would not enjoy it now...too old plus sweaty stinky kids. Lol!

Ok - First of all, I am cracking up at your Pimp an Ho party!  Sounds like a good time!  

The lotion thing is weird.  I really just don't know.   There really isn't anyone else that would have been in here to take it.  She is still in the area and working at our HQ office today.  She mentioned possibly coming by to go over some things with me today.  I hope she does, so then I will totally be like..."Hey I had some lotion sitting here that I brought back from my trip to Fiji, have you seen it?  It has disappeared, soooo weird!".  Lol.

Oh, yes. They were fun, and famous in our little town. My mom and stepdad always got a kick out of them until the oil wrestling inevitably killed the lawn every time. 🤷‍♀️

Are you going to make it to Denver? We may need to recreate the Pimp and Ho party magic.

The Dance & Drama Association had a pimp and ho party every valentine's weekend in college.  So much fun.

Team green and ha on names! I guess we have a boy one that will do since we didn't use it for N. Mostly want to make sure it's a)not ectopic since I had symptoms on like day 3 and b) just one. BTW last time I was there they had smelling salts(well a packet of something) taped to the wall and the door at the office...and they said it's for when people faint! And that it happens daily! Hopefully I can get through without them needing it for me. I will pass out if it's twins though, for real.

FX for a singleton. Twins is one of my greatest fears in life.

ETA: I peeked in on that Grammy thread the other night and saw someone mention that a woman on their BMB had twins in March and then another baby in January. Three kids under one! I gasped when I read it and Pete asked what was going on, and he looked like he would faint just hearing about it.

H’s school runs a camp, I think it’s 2 or 3 half days a week. The local Y has a camp and I think maybe the zoo. Most things are school age so this is the first summer she will qualify and I really haven’t looked into it too much. The dance camp she did last year is for 1 week in the mornings, idk if I’d do it again, it’s kind of expensive for what it is.

I know I've told the story before about the Navy wife I 'knew' (friend of a friend) that had a single, then 3-4 months later got pregnant with triplets. They were born premature so she had 4 under 1. :mind blown: I cannot even  begin to imagine that many babies at once. 

Some friends of ours are expecting #5, except that it turned out to be twins so #6, too 😳 Their older kids are more typically spaced but man. I think this pregnancy was a surprise, so why not make it a double?? They are fantastic parents, though, if anyone can handle it with grace it's them.

Twins (although cute as hell) do not sound delightful. One at a time is challenging enough.

My mom really wanted four kids, my dad thought two was enough, they settled on three. During one of the first ob appointments my mom had during her pregnancy with my youngest sister, the midwife said she was hearing two very strong heartbeats, my dad almost fainted, my mom squealed for joy. As it turned out it was a midwife in training, who heard the baby’s heartbeat and my moms...

Since P was a surprise, I was sure that we would have twins.

We have a ton of camps here but only two in town with hours that would accommodate a working parent. Our current place is one of them and the other is the Y. I’ve witnessed the Y camp when there for other things and it looks horribly chaotic and managed by teenagers that don’t seem to know what they are doing so we won’t be going there.

His current school has a good camp setup and swimming daily so it will be fun.

I think they knew exactly what they were doing.  I definitely feel bad for the kids but you'd have to be an idiot to not foresee that happening.
