I'm home early. The roads are icy, multiple wrecks, buses included, so they sent most of us home early. I also grabbed work to do tomorrow from home since they're calling for 1/4" then 1/2" of snow on top of that. My dad already cancelled watching evie. Yikes! Stay safe, icy roads are the worst! My company ended up closing the office tomorrow and Evies school is cancelled. Not sure if H will try to make it to work tomorrow or not...his commute is 45 minutes on a good day. Hopefully Evie cooperates so I can still get some work done. |

mwhip they are cancelling for half an inch?! Its the 1/4" of ice they are cancelling for, then 1/2" of snow on top of it. There was also a bus that flipped on its side in a residential neighborhood this afternoon in south Kansas City, so I'm sure that factored into all the districts closing. |

Yea we get delays a lot here for ice because of the busses. Last year school was cancelled 5 times. This year just once so far. |

I've been cleaning and doing laundry all day, but it feels never ending. Kitchen clean so a bowl of cereal gets spilled everywhere. Bathroom clean and then a glass gets shattered. Change the laundey and realize MH put a pen in a load... Well this is bullshit. Clearly the universe is sabotaging your cleaning. Surrender to the universe, sit your ass down and throw in the towel.  Plus, my parents got A a ball pit for Christmas. A BALL PIT. |

WWYD? Valentines Day is on a Thursday which is the one day the kids don't go to daycare. Daycare is having Vday parties for both kids' rooms that day. Would you send valentines the day before to be passed out at the party or just say screw it and save the money and effort? N will be having a party at preschool on Wednesday so she'll get in on the fun there. H probably doesn't know the difference. Could you ask daycare if you could bring H that day for the party? I think I’d send cards because I assume that the daycare gives every parent a list of how many to get so there will likely be cards for him waiting on Thursday. |

Sunny41 it went pretty great. It was more of a checking to make sure I was willing to do the job for the long haul. The last manager in the job left after 6 months. I officially submitted my resume and applied. I also did a cover letter. vino I totally went back to TCF to the message you sent me on how to write a cover letter. I couldn’t find the one I wrote 3 years ago so I went back to that message. Thanks again!!

So I know Monday was titled spending money day but in the last 24 hours I’ve spent all the money. I bought 1 round trip ticket and 1 one way ticket to Oklahoma in June for my cousins wedding. LO has asked to stay longer at my parents house so they will drive him home. FYI a pain in the but to purchase because I couldn’t buy both in the same transaction so I had to call and it took the agent over 45 minutes to figure out how not to label the ticket as an unaccompanied minor and link to my ticket.
I just bought 3 tickets to the RISE festival in October along with a hotel room. (If anyone wants to go let me know I have a link for preorders and they are discounted)
Plus the check to register for Kindergarten.
Then C has informed me his sister is coming for a visit and wants to go to Pirates Dinner theatre and Disneyland.
