I woke up to a poop explosion baby who is cutting a molar. At least that explains the last day or so.
And we are polar vortexing again but we have to get groceries. It’s such a Monday.

N boycotted her morning nap yesterday and was a pain to get to sleep for her afternoon one and bedtime. It wouldn't have been a big deal but I am having psycho rage PMS and all I wanted was to sit on the couch and do nothing for a minute.
But her morning nap was ok today so maybe she was just feeling grumpy too.
She is so much more independent than E. Like right now she's playing on her own. We went to a party at a playspace yesterday and she was just wondering around on her own. Where as E still needs be to play with her and wanted me by her side at all times yesterday. It's so nice to have a baby who let's be chill!

DD1 has a cough, DD2 had her well baby check today. I was up all night with both and I feel like death I’m so tired. I need to do my workout but I can’t move. No motivation.

Yep, it’s a Monday alright. I left work last Thursday at peak levels of annoyance and I was hoping the weekend would give me a little chill and things would be better today. Nope. I mostly forgot about work stuff over the weekend which was nice, but I was so rudely reminded how much people suck bright and early today. 1 week down of work BFF on maternity leave. 11 to go. 😫
L learned to say Alexa. Can’t decide if I’m proud or ashamed. When we would ask Alexa things, he’d turn and look at our Echo. At my parents over the weekend, we kept making Alexa play different songs and say things to L and then he kept shouting “uh-yuh-yuh” in the direction of their Echo. She obviously didn’t respond and then he crawled over to it and kept saying it. I was dying.

clementine <3 thank you. We are better! Disappointed about the weekend but it passed fairly quickly. We do live in Pats territory and DS was quite excited ETA: we made the most of our getaway playing games in the hotel 😂 ::poof::

With the exception of polar vortex round 2 I can completely relate to your morning. L is cutting his first molar, and DS1’s stomach was off all day yesterday. He had a poop accident overnight and never even realized it. As he was walking to the bathroom to get cleaned up he threw up.

I’m pretty sure ds is working on a molar here too. So sad. Where’d my baby go?? Also, screaming at bedtime just because (well teeth I guess but...still). So much crying lately. He gave me theee heart attacks today because I left him in our very babyproof playroom with his sister and he started screaming. I come running in and he’s truly just crying because he realized I wasn’t there. Listen buddy, mama has stuff to do and you have three sisters to play with. You only scream in this house if you are seriously injured, you see fire or someone is puking. Clearly he doesn’t no the rules yet. 🤷♀️ Also, only three school days this week. There was only one last week. And kindergarten registration, conferences, all the usually activities and a birthday. I’m sure we will survive, but some days I wonder how.

I got offered a job substitute teaching at Gs preschool. Apparently there’s only one other sub and she is opening a day home. Basically I felt bad that they couldn’t find anyone with the qualifications to work so little. I agreed but only on days H is off work (he works shifts, so roughly 7 days/month I can do).
I got bad anxiety just thinking about going in. I haven’t worked in 3.5 years.
I know it’s good for when I do eventually go back to work. Some kind of work experience while I’m busy SAH.
Word vomit, meet M/A18

Fuck cars. The car is finally in the shop after the deer hit MH. THIS IS WEEK TWO WITHOUT IT. NO END IN SIGHT.
MH has been driving our Jeep and yesterday decides the brakes sound too bad and we need to take it in too. $500 later it’s getting new back brakes today.
That’s fine. Let me go water the money tree in the back yard and then I will walk to 30 miles to DD1s dance class tonight. MH isn’t allowed to drive anything anymore. The brakes sounded fine last week. He drives it for a week and they fall apart. He is a car jinx!

AND I’m so bummed because he is home today I was going to be able to leave DD2 home with him and get some very rare one on one time with DD1 while we go to dance. Now if we don’t get the car back in time my MIL wants to drive us there. I’m so glad DD1 still can go to dance but my MIL drives me nuts on a good day.

Molars...it has to be the be molars, because L has become a cling-on baby the last couple weeks. He wants to be held constantly. The moment I leave the room at daycare he screams and the moment I put him down at home he screams. He doesn't understand that I need more than one arm to get things done around the house. Also, he keeps spiking a temperature in the 102-103 range...I am wondering if this is from teething. It seems high for teething, but according to Dr. Google other mothers have reported their children had high fevers when they cut their molars.

ArielMermaid, ugh...stupid cars, why does everything break at such inconvenient times. Our furnace went out Friday, and we were unable to get a new one until today. So, we stayed OOT at my parents house Friday and Saturday, and at a local hotel Sunday and last night. No way were we going to sleep in a house that was only 45-50 degrees. Even stopping by the house to make lunches for daycare and work was terrible. I am excited to be home tonight, getting ready for work in a hotel room was not fun!

Not being able to be in your own home sucks so bad.

DS2 has gotten like 4 teeth in the last two weeks but they’re mostly on one side so he looks like he has three front middle teeth and three bottom middle teeth instead of two.
Back at work and struggling with the juggling. DS2 is having major separation anxiety and screams if I’m out of sight or leaving him. Bedtime is a shit show too. I’m tired and frustrated.
